Morning everyone, well here is my life update We had the wedding rehersal for my ds wedding Tuesday night.

It was a lot of fun, we met at Bush Stadium and walked the underground portions and found out were we are hiding out until the wedding will begin. I will be walking out of the grooms side (the home dugout) Bride will come out of the visitors dugout.

They are being married at home plate, All of the guests will be held in the clubhouse untill 10 min before the wedding and then the will be taken to the seats.

The rehersal was very laid back, the dress for the evening, was cardinal Jersy's / t shirts etc. I have posted some pics on facebook.

We then went to thier favorite Bar had Pizza's and drinks, and big beautiful cupcake assortment- by the wedding cake baker.

A great time was had by all, But we had to leave by 9 to take DGD home and put her to bed, she had school the next day.

So the big day is will be Saturday, and we went to pick up DH tux and the jacket was the wrong size, the shirt was missing a button, and the pants just looked wrong, so they are reordering these things and should be there by 2 this afternoon. So back we will go today, Hopefully they got it right this time.

Good morning everyone! Sorry i've been a bit MIA. I had training the last couple of days and instead of my 10 minute commute it was over an hour each way. I'm so glad I don't have a commute like that every day. Also since I was out that way I met up with a friend for dinner Tuesday night which was fun.

Chris - on sending Becca off to school. I know it has been hard on you but I also know that you have prepared her well for this next great step in her life.

Food Network Star - I haven't watched all of the episodes but Jeff is from my old High School. My SIL works at the school and had posted it on her FB wall.

Dianne - sounds like the rehearsal went very well and was a lot of fun. Can't wait to see pictures of the wedding.

Based on Ray's comment on FB about the 7 month window coming I was curious as to what everyone else was doing?

Who is staying where before the cruise? Dianne have you gotten anyone else interested in sharing a ride to the port? Anyone interested in having a pre-cruise DIS meet?

Mark and I were thinking of trying for a treehouse, or if that wasn't available getting a room at OKW or SSR.

I think we were gonna try to get Boardwalk as well. And we would be interested in the transportation option. Gotta get to the port some how.

And for a pre-cruise meet up. We are up for it. As long as we can make it.


And thanks Mary. Yes, it has been hard letting Becca go, but so far she is doing good. Today starts "Destination Iowa State" over there for her. I guess there are parties and tours and stuff to get the freshmen and transfer students acclimated to the campus. So that should be fun for her.

Dianne - how fun is this wedding gonna be. Can't wait to see the pictures!

A Belated Birthday Wish from us!!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Well, it is not that happy for me. It is for the rest of my family but not me. That is because today we are moving Becca over to Iowa State to her dorm room. I hope I make it through the day with no tears. But that is very doubtful.

It is just hard to believe she is 18 and going off to college. I haven't had enough time with her here with us yet. Even though there are times when her and her sister are fighting that. . . . well you know, you wish they were grown and gone, but not really.

It has been weird too this year only signing Brooke up for school and dance and stuff like that. Ah, well. I still have my Brooke home for three more years, as she is starting her Sophmore year in High School this year. So that is good.

Ok, I will stop now.

That is a very nice offer Mary, I will let you know as soon as I get our reservations set for the 2 nights we will be there. Hopefully OKW, we were going to go over to the Radisson if that was what everyone was doing, but it seems everyone is staying at the world.

Hi everyone, well its less than 24 hours to the wedding, House is in order, tux ok, dresses ok, manicure and pedicure done, DGD bathed and hair washed and in bed, The rest of the family headed our way in about another hour DD, DSIL (1) DGS and (3) DGD and beds ready for thier arrival.

I will post how many have agreed to share a ride after the wedding is over and see if we have any more takers before I book us.

Right now Michael and I are booked in a studio @ SSR.

Mark and Mary we would love to join in on the BBQ will know more once we book flights.

Thanks, family arrived last night. Looks good , Rained poored early this morning, done now, sun is out and drying things out.

The Maid of honor and some of thier friends went to the stadium this morning and set up the tables for the reception...

They have amazing friends, all very caring. Wedding tonight.
