Mary - how soon before you go on your Alaska cruise? I know it is in June and it has to be getting sooooo close. And Dave's and Gary's cruise too. So excited for you all. Can't wait to hear about them.

We are on the July 5th sailing. I'm getting really excited. We leave for Vancouver on the 2nd.

Being as they go with my "name" (so to speak), I just was hoping to get them done ahead of time, since come the beginning of the year I'm usually frantically finishing up things I'm putting in our Guild's annual quilt show. OHHHHH, and I won a ribbon this year on one of the ones I put in!

Chris - yes I have been enjoying Ellen's photos. Can't wait to see it in person. Though we aren't as dedicated to photos as she is. Our plan for Tracy Arm day is to enjoy most of it from our balcony/deck 4. Don't want to fight the crowds for deck 10 or spend hours out there.

I have a question for those who are participating in the Fish Extender Gift exchange...when I post the list of people participating...I will be posting your cabin numbers...if you have a problem with your cabin number being posted here, please let me know and I will not post your cabin number.

Also, we need a cut-off date for the Fish Extender..."That way people have plenty of time to know exactly how many they need without worrying about more people jumping in at the last minute". With that said...the cut-off date is Sunday, February 26, 2012. I will send out reminders within the last 2 weeks to let you know the cut off date is coming.

Ok here is the news, my DSIL came in second in his divison @ state. Last year at state he came in first & Nationals he came in second.

The only way he will go to nationals this year is if the first place winner has an accident, we are not hoping for that. Safe driving everyone!

Hello and Hope All Had a GREAT Weekend!

LionMouse - Welcome!! My 1st cruise was the SSMC09 with many in this group and everyone was wonderful and so very helpful. My kids and I are going on the SSMC11 this year and then my DBFF and I are going on this cruise in '12. This will be my first cruise with no kids so I am very excited.

Sue - Sooooo excited to be getting together this coming week with you!! Can't wait. We'll have to remember to take a picture and post it.

Monika - I would like to join the FE group but I want to double check with my DBFF who is travelling with me to make sure she wants to participate.

Mary, Dave, Gary - I hope you all have a great time in Alaska.

Chris - Hope it warms up enough so you can get back in the pool soon. We are supposed to have a high of only 80 tomorrow and then I think high in high 70s on Tuesday. I'm about to turn the air off but waiting for temp to drop just a few more degrees tonight.
