No nothing is perment in his job, he is in the union and when the jub is done the companies let him go and then they float from company to company depending on who has the work, and latley there isn't work anywhwere. This is the worst I have seen.

Good morning everyone! I know you'll all enjoy your October visits. One of my favorite times to go.

I'm dragging this morning after staying up to book our Alaska excursions, but it was worth it as we got our first choice of everything.

Off to work I go to pay for all this.

Good Morning everyone! Sorry I've been away so long. We had a great time at WDW even though it was a short stay for us. We drove to Port Canaveral Sunday 2/27/11 and watched the Dream sail out of the channel. It is very large! People were riding the Aqua Duck already! Looks like a lot of fun. Got to all 4 theme parks on Monday and Tuesday, seeing both old and new attractions. Got my Pirate Hat at POTC, Dave!!!! AAARRGH!!! Had GREAT meals at the Brown Derby and the Yachtsman Steakhouse on the dining plan. Flying Delta down and back was no joy, but at least we didn't get delayed or our luggage lost. The Flight Attendants (Barbie and Ken?) were the best part of the flights. I gave them them "the wave" and a "BuhBye" and they went with it!!! I'll post pictures and videos on my facebook page soon.

Hope everyone is having a good week! It has been awful quiet lately!! It must be everyone is busy making their travel plans and working to pay for them!! Too bad all of you going down in October weren't all going at the same time!

Good Morning All! Hope your week is going good so far. I know our week is going very slow. It is slow at work so that just makes it even worse. Hopefully today will pick up a little bit and make the rest of the week fly by. I mean we are at the half way point.

And yes Dave, we are getting so excited for next week. We leave on the 17th. But vacation will start when we leave work on Wednesday. Going to Des Moines to spend the night in a hotel right across from the airport so we don't have to drive down at 2:30 in the morning. Plus we can leave the car there at the hotel with no extra fees.

In fact, this morning Bobby was hounding me again, like he always does , about packing. He was "Are you gonna pack this weekend woman or what?" I said nope. Maybe around Tuesday or so. He told me I drive him crazy. I do have most of my stuff layed out just needing to go in the suitcase but what's the rush. There is still time.


Monika - I would love to hear about your Keys to the Kingdom tour when you get a chance. We are doing that on the 20th and are so excited about it. Plus I'd love to hear about your cruise.

That sounds like fun Flo! The kids and I are staying at the AKV Jambo House after the cruise. It's only 2 nights but I can't wait. Originally I wanted to book the concierge level rooms so we could do the special safari but it's only offered on Thursdays or Sundays so it does not work out for us this time. Maybe next time. This will be our first stay there.

THis will be are first time to. I could have booked the concierge ( I really wanted it) but they said there is no guarantee that you will get a savanna view. For me the whole purpose of staying there is the savanna view.
