Good morning everyone - happy Monday!

Well my staycation is over and back to work I go!

Lisa I've been enjoying your pictures on Facebook. Glad to hear you are enjoying your time at WDW, but how could you not! Isn't the castle beautiful this time of year?

Hope everyone has a great day.

Morning all, have a great day, I am going back to work today even though I am still suspossed to be on vacation. I missed two days since I was sick and need to get things done for month end.:scared1:

Well, I feel a little better, but still not my self, been on Meds since Monday still having a lot of the same problems. and feel tired, eyes are dry and thoat still hurts. ears feel like they are still full of fluid, I think I will be calling the doc back,

We had a wonderful time with the family this weekend, full house but it could have been fuller, some people were sick, sent DD home with most of the left overs, she had to go buy a sterfoam cooler to take it home in, since they live about 3 and 1/2 hours away, they stopped on the way home last night to watch the sun set over the 4 and 1/2 acres they bought, so they can decide how to position the home they are planning to build.

Lisa glad you are having a wonderful time, wish I was with you!

Good morning everyone - happy Tuesday!

Hope it wasn't too hard for everyone getting back to work! Have a great day!

Dianne - hope you start feeling better soon.

Dave - love seeing the stats. Thanks!

Good Tuesday Morning. :goodvibes

I have another fun filled day of work to go to. It was 12 hours yesterday. And I say this because we have two people leaving our office within the next two months. In fact, today is a last day for one of them. So we have been doing interviews to fill the vacancies. Mind you we are only a 4 person office and we have over 140 applications. :scared1: So, it is pretty mind boggling. We have 2 more interviews tonight after work and then a decision is to be made by Friday. Ughhhhhh.

The only really good thing out of it all is that I should get a raise and be bumped up to the 2nd in command position of the office. See I work in the County Recorder's Office at our County Courthouse. And the current Recorder is retiring after 39 years of working in the office. Kuddos to her. So, our 1st Deputy ran for her position in the election and won. So, she is planning on bumping me up to her position when she takes over January 1st as Recorder. And then we will have 2 new people in the office to try and train and get brought up to speed.

So, as you can see, it has been fun in my office the last couple of weeks. Sorry to go on, but. . . .:rolleyes1

And Monika & Flo - time is getting closer for your trips. You aren't getting excited yet are you? :rotfl:

I fully understand what you are going through, I lost one in June and we hired one right away to replace her, but are still training her, I takes a long time. Good Luck :)

Hello everyone Hope you are having a good day.

Good Evening Happy Cruisers!!

Sorry I've been away for a few days. It's been very crazy. Had a great turkey bird on Thanksgiving and it was nice to have my brother and his family with mom, but the baby just made everything so fun. Then Friday spent the morning shopping for all of the food for the Webelos Pin College that our Boy Scout troop runs all day on the Saturday after Thanksgiving for the last eight years. We have our boys teach the Webelos (cub scout) some of their skills for their activity pins, which are kinda like mini merit badges for cubs. We do that all day on Saturday and also provide lunch for them. Then I left that and went to work for a couple of hours, and finally home to collapse. Sunday we got up and put up some of the Christmas decorations, then the boys went out to camp so Dustin could keep working on his deer skin (he's trying to tan it).

Monday was a paperwork kind of day, and trying to put away everything from the pin college (all while working around all of the totes with decorations that have invaded my dining room and kitchen!!). Then to scouts last night.

Today was Tuesday so of course it was a "mom" day. Ran around with her to the foot doc and hairdresser. Back home, did dinner, but the boys are late from camp, so it will have to wait under cover until we get back from teacher conferences which start in 10 minutes!!

So hopefully I will get on later and really catch up!

I LOVE the photos of Michael and the one of the Sunrisers!! Fantastic job guys!!

Hi everyone! For anyone who didn't see my FB post, I did decide to go on the Safari in Tanzania in '12 so I won't be doing the cruise. I'll miss all of you guys, but the chance to go on the safari with some friends was just too goog to pass up.

However, I'll still check in here from time to time to keep up with everyone.

Wow, such long days can really run you down. But that would be awesome if you get the promotion! pixiedust:

Robbie - I don't see how you could turn down a Safari. I think in your situation, I would have done the same thing. Just please promise to keep us posted and tell us all about the trip when you get back. We know you will be with us in spirit. ;)

And yes, really long days, and an emotional one today, makes for a very tiring time at work. As my fellow co-worker, for the last 10 years, left us today. I'm not a big fan of change and losing someone that has been such an integral part of my life for that long, is hard. I will miss Cyndee greatly. You know, your work family-I feel I spend more time with them than I do my own family. And then in December I get to do it all over again with my boss. :sad1:

Good morning everyone - happy Wednesday!

I feel for you both. I'm on the other side as being the new person in a department and having to learn so much. I have the benefit of being with the company so I know that but the department is so different than my previous work. Plus having vacations already scheduled in what is a bad time to be away in the department doesn't make it any easier.

Chris I really understand what it is like to say goodbye to a boss you've worked with for a long time and like. Good for you for getting a promotion out of it!

Robbie, so sad you won't be with us - but wow, a safari! I think I would have gone there too! You'll have to stay in touch and send us lots of pictures! We'll miss you.

Sorry things are so crazy at work, Chris. Change is soooo hard - I hate it! And yes, you're work family can feel just as important to you! I hope things go smoothly throughout everything that is happening. Happy thoughts are with you. :lovestruc

Flo - almost time! When do you go?

Where's Monika???? :confused3

Hey Flash - glad you had a good holiday. Love that photo - that was quite a large cup of coffee there on the table!

Back to school night was fun (yeah right) but got a few things ironed out that were concerns about DS. Also took in some canned foods in exchange for homework passes so he benefited all the way around!

Terrible weather here today - heavy rain and wind, and under a tornado watch I think which is unusual here. Hope all the decorations we put up on Sunday don't blow away!

Time for more coffee! Who's in? :thumbsup2

Good Morning Fellow Cruisers!

I am here Sue, coffee in hand!:surfweb:

Chris-I understand, it can be tough seeing people leave after a long time together:grouphug:

Robbie-Enjoy your safari, definitely post some pics!!

Dianne-Hope you are feeling better

Good Morning Fellow Cruise Buddies!

Gawd I wish it were Friday.

And I want all to know that sometimes my DH gets on my FB account so if you see some things that are out there or spelled incorrectly, not me. Just saying. :rolleyes1

Have a happy day! :flower3:
