Yes, 6 weeks from today at this very moment we'll all be sailing on the "high seas" .

Got out the old suitcase from the closet today to make sure there wasn't any dust collected on it and that my luggage tags were secure enough for the trip ahead .

Keep well everyone and let the 6 week countdown begin!

Love that song! Couldn't get tickets to any of the shows that opened up this week. I'll have to wait until he comes to the casino in the Fall and hope some of my high rolling friends can get me a seat!

Back to the cruise: What percentage of gentleman (I use that term loosely) wear tux's on formal night. The men are unsure if they want to get all fancy that night or if dark suit will be appropriate. I know it's not required, but will they feel out of place without the penguin suit?

Hi all!!! I can't believe how many Illinoians are going on this trip! We are north of Rockford...almost in Wisconsin, but not quite. I am 26 (will be 27 in a few days), my DH is 31 and my DD will be almost 2 on the trip. Anyone else with toddlers? We're in room 8020! I decided to splurge since this is our first family trip. We'll be arriving the night before and staying at the Hyatt at the airport. Still trying to decide if we want to take the bus or do a limo or something. It's our first Disney cruise and our first trip together as a family, though both DH and I have gone on vacations, Disney trips, and other cruises with our families before we met. I'm a total over planner and will become ADDICTED to this board for advice and tips! Anyone from IL know what their flight info is yet? Can't wait to meet you all!!!!!!

Tinkbelfan: We are also going to boma on friday night (their food is soo good!), we have a reservation at 7:05, so if you guys are still there we could possibly meet up. It will be my husband and I, my 14 dd and 6 yr grandson. our last name is arnell

Has anyone been on the fury catamaran tour in cozumel? It sounded fun from the review on the disney website, but other vacation websites have said otherwise..
We are also thinking about doing the semi-sub in grand cayman, any input on that?

Welcome aboard Becca. Alot of us from Illinois fly out of Indy. We drive thru Rockford on our way to our beloved Door Co., WI. every summer.

We did see men in tuxes on our DCL 7 night cruise, but it was also NYE. Many more men had on jackets. Disney ships seem a little more casual than the Princess ones we have been on. My husband has a tux he wears once a year, but even a jacket isn't his idea of fun. He will wear his blue sportscoat on formal night and in Palo.

We are flying out of Midway on Friday Night. Not going to be the highlight of my trip - would rather fly out of O'hare but trying to save a little $$.

We are doing the semi-sub. I've never done before just sounded like something my dd(9) would really like to do.

The tickets for Indy are on sale MONDAY.
We will pass this year. Went last year. I think we have been to 7 shows.
Guess I will have to count t-shirts.
Could change my mind. I seem to remember ticketmaster having some on sale the day of the show last year. Face value.

I will pass on the tux this time. It doesn't fit.
I will probably take a suit.

Becca - welcome to the boards and can't wait to get everyone together on the cruise. I have never used ME to the port, always use a towncar. Nothing wrong with ME (well maybe me), I just like being in control of my timing (I know there is a diagnosis for this, but it's just one of those things!). So, who is left in Illinois when you are all in Florida?

Calgary4 - we will be at a table for eight at 6:10pm, so we will still be there when you arrive. Last name is O'Brien. I posted a pic of me a few pages back. Look for us!!

Otimon - I'm headed to Florida this Thursday and I haven't even got the suitcase out yet for that! Maybe I should do that tonight. Not a Disney trip - just visiting the parents in Naples for the long weekend. DH goes skiing!

Tinkbellfan: Sorry you won't be at Disney Thurs. but have a safe journey to Naples. It's beautiful there and I'm sure you'll enjoy the change in weather.

I see you are a Conn. yankee. I was born in New Haven but grew up in Hamden.

Has anyone heard from our OP? Disneymom92, where are you? Have the kids got you running again? Don't forget us here on the Cruise Meet page that you started.

I think we are 39 days and counting or close to it. My dd has requested door magnets for everyone in our party, so I am off to Staples to get the magnetic paper. I love looking through all the very talented artwork people on the DIS have created. I don't think I will do t-shirts unless the kids want them.

Donned the shorts when I took Belle for her walk.
Unfortunately, it will storm tomorrow and colder for the weekend.
BUT, we will be cruising in 5 1/2 weeks.

Just curious, how did you all make dinner reservations at AKL already?
Since we are planning on doing breakfast there, should we do the same?

Hello everyone... got room for a family of Floridians? We just booked this cruise this morning. We originally had booked for 9/19 (more in our price range) but didn't realize how difficult it was going to be to remove our son from high school for a week. When spring break resident rates came available we felt compelled to jump onboard, literally, lol.

It will be myself, DH, DS14 and DD10. This will be my family's third (my fourth) Disney Cruise.

I skimmed through the thread but didn't see if there was a plan to do FE's? If not, I'll organize one if anyone has an interest.

Looks like a great group!

We just booked the cruise today. We had cancelled our 09-10 NYE cruise and decided to try a March cruise to see if it's a tad warmer. DH-Dave (45) Me-Janie (45), DS-Riley (16), DD-Sierra(11 but almost 12). Hope to meet on deck 10. We're up for FEs or "tree mail" as my kids like to call it, just let us know!
