My DS9 was sent home from school today for behavior.

He has a high functioning autism, and like I've mentioned before when he becomes fixated on something they can't talk him down... well today he brought a toy to school (with permission from the office, as a calming tool) and he left it in art, when he realized he had 'lost it' he lost it...

And they couldn't get him to snap out of it, so they suspended him for the day (he had made a visit to the behavior teacher three times today already and that was before lunch, so it was a bad day for him). They are aware of the trip because we had dropped off a letter earlier. The Principle said have fun and that they think the family time will be good for him. So I'm hoping he doesn't view this as a reward.
