We found one kind in olive oil and it had a fantastic taste. It just really bumps up the fat though.
I'm okay with the increased fat. She needs it desperately. The only fat she's currently getting is from her Almond Milk and her protein. Sigh. She's already lost a couple of pounds. I'm watching her weight VERY closely.
I actually bought a bottle of olive oil with herbs in it (don't recall which off the top of my head) and I add it to her canned tuna if it wasn't already in oil. It helps flavor it, she loves it, and it's adding needed fat to her diet.
OH! how did I know know you had a TR going on since March? I am so out of it any more! I just found & will have to read your story! sorry I missed pretty much the whole thing!!
I guess I was just hiding my TR away.

Now that it's done, it should be easy to keep up with.
Glad to see you!!
Hey Liddy! Just got around to reading your latest update...wow! So sorry to hear about your family health issues. It sounds like you've got a good plan for dealing with DD's food issues and I hope your own health issues are also figured out for sure very soon!
I sure hope you get to take your May trip as well. So hard NOT to have a trip in the works I know!
Thank you!

Everything will work out in some odd way. I just know it.
We had to admit our son to ETCH for one night, so that is our only encounter there. Have been really lucky not to have to work/see any from the medical offices but I know what you are talking about. See it at a lot of offices.
We were really lucky before our oldest started Kindergarten we would head to WDW after Labor Day. Not too busy but still warm and could go to the water parks. Since Ava started real school last year we had to brave the summer crowds and went in June. I don't think we will get to go this school year. Once I start my school, I go 5 semesters including Summer. That means I graduate sooner, but not much time to try to do Disney like we want. I will still have to work during school and I doubt any of my breaks will coincide with Ava's. When do you guys go to Disney?
I know what park you are talking about. You can hear the train whistle from our porch. It is in our back yard pretty much. We didn't go much this summer, either. Spent a lot of time in Savannah, GA with our other family before school started. Went to the beach as much as we could.
Just let me know when you want to meet up. My schedule is never the same but I am always up for a trip to Knoxville! We have nothing in Sevierville!
I'm the mom that is okay with the kids missing some school -- if they are doing well, and while they're still young enough that I can help them understand their work. Odds are, this will be the last year we'd consider it. But with as many days as DD is missing ... we may be moving our trip to the summer.
Wow, I can't believe you have that park in your backyard and haven't been practically every day?
Do you not get any breaks in between semesters that you could plan a trip on? Not that it is easy ... trust me, it was rough doing Spring Break this year ... cramming for tests, planning a trip, making sure all ducks were in a row. I thought I was going to go nuts!
If we go in May, my dates of choice are immediately after my finals.

Nothing like finishing up finals, surprising my niece with her frist trip, packing into the car and arriving the next morning.

That's the perfect way to end finals, right?
I don't do Knoxville very often -- well, outside of school, but I'd be game for meeting at the mall or something. I could handle driving there. I know the backroads enough so I don't have to hit Kingston Pike.

(It makes me nervous!)
I am going to threadjack here and suggest a Dismeet in September, the weekend of the 21st...

My DH and I will be taking oldest DD and her BFF to Wilderness of the Smokies for her DD's 13th bday. Liddy and I had already discussed meeting up...let's just make it a party!
What an awesome idea!!!
Definitely! Just let me know when and where. I am usually off weekends. Where do you live about oosiDaisey? Near Sevierville? Or just coming up for that weekend? We took the kids to Wilderness at the Smokies a few months ago, before it was warm. Pretty nice, expcept our 4 year old was too small to ride some things.
We did Wildnerness at the Smokies back in Sept. 2011. It was nice, but the indoor waterpark area was hard to breathe in. DD loved the slides, and rode them like mad. DS however, was too scared. We did do some of the family rafts. DS didn't mind them too much.
We live just east of Nashville...just coming for the weekend.
And I can't wait!!
