March 2010 Trips

congrats on a new baby!!! when are you due? I had my first on December 21st, so close to christmas the nurses put him in a stocking to bring him home in...I still have it, somewhere! That was 15 years ago this december!

I am due the begining of January. we hope to make through Christmas with no suprises lol! And post baby, I can't hink of a better place to spend all those extra calories I get from nursing than at DL!

We are going March 2rd through the 6th. We have reservations at the Hojos as of now. But we are hoping for an off season deal so that we can stay on site. We will probably get 4 day hoppers. The 4th is our 10 year wedding anniversery! We never had a real honeymoon! So this trip will be ours! Wahoo! We are very excited!!

I dont think you will get an off season deal in March - its spring break time for Canada for some school districts and also the following week is a big spring break week for BC....

I saw that online! Armando and I are gonna talk about it all after Christmas after all the hussle and bussle slows. For now we have reservations at the Hojo so I have a plan A! Part of me wants to stay off site just because of all of the money we can save. That's more money we can spend in the park on tours, dinners and shopping...so I am very torn!! LOL!! It's almost time for the baby's birthday trip!!!! How fun will that be!! I am hoping that for sure we will go for Christmas next year!!

Yahooo!!! We're going the first week of March, as of right now! I LOVE going off season and wait for last minute deals around the end of Feb/first of Mar. Hoping to get a good deal at the Grand but if not then we'll probably be at BWPPI.
I want to be brave and try something new, Desert Inn & Suites for the indoor pool, jacuzzi tub and space but we'll see...I have a hard time branching out from my comfort zone...hehehehe!
We'll be in the parks for 3 days and on our travel days we'll do Goofy's Kitchen, Storytellers Breakfast and DTD :)

Do you know if the rates for GCH are at their cheapest in March? I know they have good rates in January ($219, which is the cheapest they seem to go). But my b/f and I might not be able to go until March, so I'm wondering how much the GCH costs. (They only have up to February available on the AP website)

Actually-- wasn't there a big discount people posted a little bit ago, it was a better deal that the normal AP discount. I need to find that thread!

ETA: Nevermind gals, they posted the March GCH rates on the AP website and it's more expensive then than during Jan & the first week of February. Guess my b/f and I will try to go then.

3Minnies, do you know where the Winter Hotel rates thread is? Also is the 5 for 3 just for hotel packages, or does it need to include tickets as well? Thanks

ETA: Nevermind, I found the answers!

Hi My DH and I are going March 3-8th. In the past we have stayed at Paradise Pier and Disneyland Hotels. This time I am debating staying at the Grand. :cool2:

While we are their we are celebrating our 18th anniversery and first honeymoon:cloud9: LOL I also am attending a nursing conference for a couple days.

Been lurking first post here, and trying to learn how to do all the neat things I see in signatures like the countdowns.:confused3

I am new here, but I just dive in! lol .. click on my countdown in my signature and it will take you to the place I made it .. you don't need to sign up like the page says, just choose the reason for the countdown on the left (vacation), then choose which one you like, click ON the next part at the end of the page (at first I thought, that's the ONLY choice for me? lol, I didn't click on it) .. then choose your marker, then click on the 3rd part and type in what you'd like ...

The only thing I see, is that you can't change your text once you've made it, you will have to do another if you want to change text .. which is no biggie, cause it's quick and easy .. message me if you'd like any other help .. if I don't know then I can find someone who does!

Yeah!! I'm so excited... it's our all girl trip, me, my mom, and my 2 year old daughter... and we are going March 25-28th and staying at the Anahiem Resort.

Oh its getting so Close now once Christmas is over the time will fly and I will get my 6 weeks in America....:rotfl2:
Hey Question for you all can you tell me how much the unnoficial guide and birnbaums guides are over there they cost me a fortune to purchase here in AUS!!

Unofficial Guide: $17.99
Birnbaums: $14.95

...and that's if you buy them in a store and not on Amazon...they're both discounted on Amazon.

We are finally booked! I am usually a disney planning nut. But right now I'm still trying to finish up all things Christmas. Anyone else? I'm due to have a baby at the begining of January and I hoped to have most of our planning done before then. But, man I feel like we have a lot going on right now!
Maybe I will have a week post Christmas and before baby to get everything planed out for the trip. It helps that my 4 year old walks around the house constantly singing it's a small world!

So what are you working on more? Your March trip or Christmas?

We're taking a cruise at the end of January...so between the cruise & Christmas, I'm hardly thinking about Disneyland...but I'm here so... :rolleyes1

I have the Unofficial Guide stored away for my "cruise reading!" We like to travel between now and April because it allows us to get away during the winter months :goodvibes Having something to look forward to makes the winter go by a lot quicker!!

I figure when I get back from the cruise I'll start my PTR and really start my planning! For now I have plane tickets and a hotel, so at the very least, I know I'm going!

Neither really. lol Both are in hurry up and wait mode so I was concentrating on my homework and finals instead (like a good little student). I can't proceed nay furhter with Christmas until my sister decides what she's getting my kid. I won't know what's left until then and still need to get her a thing or two.

I can't really do anymore travel plans until around Feb so where we are now is where it stands until then. lol
