Got all my ADR's ....now for a hotel code......

I'm in the same boat. If we go, it won't be until our spring break which is the last week of March. I really wanted to go in August for free DDP, but our AP's expire a week before it starts and I really want to get a trip in where we don't have to fork out another thousand bucks for tickets!

watch. we are going the 27 and leaving the 4th. I bet I will have to wait forever to make the ADRs for the last remaining 3 days in April. still waiting patiently just to make the ones for the end of March.

Yeah we are going 3/21-3/28 and I'm getting annoyed with this waiting game!

I have these planned and since I'm impatient I tweaked it around to move CM and CRT to the end of the vacation instead of the beginning so I could make sure I got all of our MUST haves already booked.

3/21- Crystal Palace dinner (really wanted CM but CP is a MUST do)
3/22- Tusker House BF (fine wanted this on this day anyway) and 1900 PF dinner (wanted Ohana this day but PF is a MUST do for DD!)
3/23- nothing yet but want PSB
3/24- nothing yet but maybe T-rex
3/25- CRT lunch (fine...wanted this anyway)
3/26- nothing yet but want Ohana dinner
3/27- Chef Mickey dinner (wanted CP but switched it around)
3/28- debating between CP, CM or Ohana for breakfast before we leave.

Since they're redoing how they do ADRs, you will only be able to make some of them. I think they are taking them through the 22nd or 23rd.

Are you getting the dining plan? I have gone back and forth, but have finally settled on no (at least for now.)

Why "no"?....The last 2 times we went, we loved the dining plan. Now, I have heard it has changed somewhat since we have been there, but it was fantastic when we were there.

We just can't eat all of that food. We will save so much money by sharing meals that we will spend about $200 or $300 less by paying OOP.

totally agree, unless the dining plan is free doesn't pay us to get it either. When we are out, the kids DD4 and DS 2 1/2 normally share a meal because both normally eat half. And the times that they are eating more, my husband and I will share some of ours. Will be a different story when they are older.

We will be there March 13-21. Son turns 3 on the 22nd taking advantage of not having to pay for his ticket.

We also are leaving the 28th of March through April 4th. And the only reservation I have is for CRT on Sunday for Lunch. But i have done a whole lot of research, and have most of the other restraunts already picked out. Just waiting on them to open up some dates!!!

The dining plan really depends per family.

For us it pays as you can tell because we love character meals!!!!! We paid OOP last trip since we stayed off site the DDP is actually cheaper for us!

I would start with looking at the disney hours and EMH's and see which park you want to be at on which day and make ADR's according to that.

I agree! We are planning on getting the dining plan because we want to do more TS meals this time instead of so many counter service......luckily for us, our dates are the begining of March, so we have all but one of our ADR's made since we can't decide on that last one.........

I am just hoping for something. We are in POP right now for March 4-10 and it is my mom's first trip (and first flight!) and I would like to go moderate. We are booked rack rate right now and I would love a discount. I am just excited no matter what!

If we do get a code to reduce the cost of the hotel room I may go with CBR. DH doesn't know though!

I'm hoping for an AP code for March 8th-14th... anybody know when they usually release these codes?? Our tentative January trip is dependent on maybe getting a code for March!

Subbing as we're going in Jan for Marathon weekend and then my SIL is twisting my arm to back March 5-9 for the Princess Half Marathon. Hoping for a Disney Visa code... or bounceback from Jan though I don't think the bounce back is out that soon...
