:bounce: I am so excited....I have luggage all over my room trying to get 6 people organized.....I am so ready to walk aboard the Magic.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I have clothes everywhere and I fit into everything!!! I am soo excited. My boys have outgrown so many things, yikes!

I forgot to book a car service from the Hyatt Airport to the port on Saturday. Do any of you recommend anyone? Will I have problems getting a res?
thanks,
Dawn

We are using Tiffany Town Car. Happy Limo is another to try. Another one I remember from this board is Your Ride? You probably will be OK if you call now and reserve a ride. Kathy

give Budget a jingle. We're renting a car to drive out to the port, and since you need the car just for a couple of hours, the rate is great. I think we are paying less than $20 for 3 hours. Budget always needs the cars on Saturday out at the port too, for those just returning, so they are pretty good about the one-way rental.

Single digits, single digit dance :jumping1: !! We leave early, early Friday AM.

I have been looking all over our house and outside for my DS's snorkle. He lost his last fall so "Santa" bought a new one for his stocking this Christmas. Brand new, "dry" type and it has disapeared  . I think his own money is going to have to cover a new one if we can't find this one. I can't believe we are going to be buying three snorkles for one kid/one cruise

strawberryblonde
I bought our at http://www.snorkelcity.com they are really nice and arrived 2 days after I order them...

Just got the sunblock, sea safe...I am getting ready..

Any chance the snorkel is in the bathtub? That's where ours live most of the time!!

I need to leave soon, because I keep thinking of more things I should bring with me, and pretty soon my bags will be 100 lbs each. I did decide to pack a duffel bag in one suitcase and then use it as the laundry hamper all week, leaving plenty of space in the suitcase for stuff we buy ;)

Costco has some cool looking snorkel sets. Do the dry type really work?

Should I bring our binoculars for the veranda?
thanks,
Dawn:wave2:

We are bringing our binoculars. Single digits everyone! I hope Florida warms up by then, they are on the cool side today. Kathy

Bathtub  ! I wish it was, that would also mean that it got a chance to be used

Shopped at Target today for odds and ends for the cruise. Even picked up Windex wipes (read last night that sea spray can build up and cloud your verandah view, can't have that happening, lol). DH is so going to tease me when he sees everything I have packed (shoe holder, air freshener, pillowcases for the kids.....). Packed our binoculars as well, very tiny, don't take up much room and we may see dolphins :teeth:

I bought our snorkle sets at Sam's club (very similiar to Costco) last summer and we tried them out in our pool. I think the "dry" type work great and I love having my own gear. We plan to use them for all three beach days. Thanks for the link, geffric, I'm heading over there now to check prices.

I think the "dry" snorkels are good; obviously, if you put the end of the snorkel under water and breathe in, you'll get water, but otherwise they do a good job of keeping water out from splashes and small waves. Ours also have a "spit valve" (don't recall what it is actually called) at the bottom; just blow out and any accumulated liquid is released.

I worked on organizing luggage saturday and hope to finish this
Saturday. I think I have one smaller bag that carries all of the stuff on the long list from this board....but all is necessary. I too, packed the windex wipes. My husband is just starting to get excited....he came home Monday with new clothes and shoes he says he needed....Will I every get it all packed......We are leaving Iowa this coming Tuesday .....just a few more days left and we will be in Florida. We will be at the Raddisson
Thursday and Friday night and will probably eat all 6 meals at Grills....not really...but it would be nice to think about. Can't wait to meet all of you.

Magicboundagain4, what is Grills? Is that at the Raddison? We are staying there Friday night and will need to eat!

Anyone flying from Ohare Friday.. besides us... we leave at 6 pm..

I have been checking the forcast for Florida for the few days before the cruise and the day we sail. Should be a nice day for a sailaway party. I even noticed some 80+ range. It seems like FOREVER since we have felt that. (well maybe when I sit right on the furnace vent):p

can't wait can;t wait:hyper: :hyper:
:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Tonight is the only night this week that I'll have to finalize packing. I think the hanging clothes will get put in the van and even the suitcase. I can't think of another thing that needs to be put in. I am concerned about the weight of the bags. They really can give your bag a good swift TOSS. I decided to carry the wine on so I don't have to worry about that spilling on my clothes, but I am concerned with the bathroom spray, hair spray bottles, shampoo. Sorry if you can tell we don't exactly trust cargo people with our luggage.

Next week we will be doing everything we can to keep the kids focused on their studies, taking the dog to grandma and grandpa's, and a final thorough cleaning of the house.

Beach Club Villa's (Storm-Along Bay) here we come. And then watch out Disney Magic.........

5 more work days.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Has anyone called and found out what movies will be showing during our cruise?

No, I thought we had to wait until within a week of our dates (but I'm not sure). If anyone gets the list, please post :teacher: .

I bet these will be a couple:

Hidalgo
This much too long, primitively plotted family action adventure has a handful of well-handled sequences. But given the young audience the film is intended for, the picture is like having to finish an entire pot of broccoli to have a couple of jelly beans for dessert. (Walt Disney Pictures, PG13)

Miracle
This movie version of the 1980 United States Olympic hockey team's Cinderella season faces a hurdle that most fact-based films don't have to contemplate: the actual story the picture is based on was so corny and rousing that it hit all of the notes many filmmakers would have too much shame to embrace. (Walt Disney Pictures, PG) I could see this one again.

This is what they told me when I called.
Brother Bear, Calendar girls, Confession of a teenage drama queen, Cold Mountain, Finding Nemo, Hidalgo, Haunted Mansion, Lord of the rings?, Miracle, POC, Under the Tuscan Sun, Master in Command, Teachers Pet, Mentioned one other , I think it was Lady Killer but said no it doesn't come out until the 26th. After I hung up I looked at the calendar and we don't get off until the 27th soooo maybe we will get to see it.:bounce: :Pinkbounc
Sounds like a lot of movies.
