I am so excited!! I finished making my fish extender today. Once I get my computer fixed I will post a picture of it. :) A stranger sent me a 3 pocket wall hanger from IKEA. I decorated it with Mickey Mouse character ribbon, added our names and put Mickey, Donald and Minnie stickers on each pocket. It turned out really great. We are surprising our kids with the trip. They think we are going in 3 years. LOL I wish I could show them what I made.

I've been looking at fish extenders on Etsy, but I can't decide if I should have all 5 of us on one or have 2 separate ones... Where are you from? We are from Wisconsin and my sister aka Auntie Cat is from Texas. Can't wait to see your finished FE!

My fish extender had 3 pockets..so I combined hubby's and mine then the kids had their own.
We're from Tallahassee Florida. Not far from Port C. :)
Oh I think I've seen them with at least 5 pockets but you might want to check on the size that they need to be. I forget..maybe 8 inches but that is across I think. Not sure what the floor length would be.

Sounds cute! I too have been looking on etsy, I think I'm just doing one FE with hubby and I on the top and our girls' on the bottom two

We booked our airfare last night and HOLY COW! On the 2nd day of the booking window, most of the Kansas City to Orlando flights were alraedy sold out.

We had to settle for a quick connecting flight through Nashville with only a 25 minute turnaround. REALLY hoping that we AND our luggage make it.

We're toying with the idea of trying to pack strictly in carry-ons so to avoid the worry of our luggage not making the connection. Does anyone know if this can be done for a cruise? :rotfl:

Welcome new people!!! So glad to see more sign up on our cruise. :) Can't wait to meet everyone on the cruise. This is going to be so much fun!! Since this is our first cruise I am not sure how we are suppose to do a fish extender group so if anyone has any insight on what to do please share your information. We can all work on this together I think. :) I love planning things like this.
Was wondering if anyone was going to decorate their cabin doors with magnets? I am. I have been saving images on my computer and will print them out on magnetic paper. I also want to print images out and put them on t-shirts for our first day cruise and the pirate party that night.

I bought my fish extender on Etsy:

Dawn was awesome to work with.

We also decorate our doors but save the $$ on magnetic paper and print your graphics on regular paper, laminate, then attach magnetic tape to the back. That way , if it gets lost, you won't be out the expensive paper.

Your idea for laminating for magnets is great! I quoted some people that joined today to add their information for the FE group, hope they respond. I have had so much fun just looking for ideas for FE's! Hope we can do a group meet also. Rea e someone's blog that they had their group meet after the send off party.
