That is really a wonderful idea! I have no idea of how to create a logo or rather not how but what to use as the logo. This is very interesting. Maybe I will look and see what I can find on that just to get an idea or two and go from there. Do you have a picture you could share of these t-shirts?

Joanne :yay:

I know some of the DisDesigners have threads where you can request them to create something for you. Some have Photo Bucket files that they share with designs also. Sounds like fun! Only a few weeks till we're just 365 days away!! LOL!! :cheer2:

That would be cool! Should we ask one of them? I didn't know where the logo came from for our MR cruise, but it was a really nice logo, and they are great to have to personalize the FE stuff for the cruise.

I just looked at some of the DISigners and they are working on some for the Fantasy already. I will look and maybe see what I can come up with ... that is if no one has any objections.

Hello everyone:

My family just booked this cruise! It will be our 2nd Disney Cruise but our first out of Port Canaveral (We did the Wonder "Kids Sail Free" to the Mexican Riviera for Spring Break 2011).

We are a family of 5. There is Me (Nicole), my dh (Jon) and our 3 daughters who will be 13, 8 and 5 at the time of this cruise.

My 13 year old is a bit bummed that the teen club actually requires you to be 14 instead of just "a teen" but hopefully she will meet lots of other friends her age in the Edge club. On our first cruise, she and another girl she met through the cruise meet thread I participated in were inseparable. I am really hoping she has a similar experience on this cruise.

We definitely want to participate in any FE that is set up for this cruise. That was such a treat last year!

:welcome: to the group. There is someone on here that adds you all to the FE. I am sure your 13 year old will find a buddy to be with throughout the cruise. Hopefully we will get a chance to meet up while on the cruise.
Cheers

I am jealous! It would be so cool to be able to watch the ships sail away even when you're not getting on one of them. We have no ships in New Mexico.:)

Thank you! I guess we have a little time on the FE but it was definitely a highlight for my girls on the cruise, both the giving and the receiving was so much fun.

Good point about the boys! :rotfl2:

She will be excited to hear there is already a girl her age in this group. I talked to her today about not being old enough for vibe and she agreed that she would want to be with kids her age and that the older teens might not be as easy to make friends with and that is important for her. She just really wishes the tween deck had their own pool/ sundeck. That is a pretty cool feature! Looks more private than the adult pool/ elevator hub. ;) Hopefully they will have a "Tweens take over" event like they did when we were on the Wonder where the tweens get the run of the Teen Club for a night.

I am so excited, the ship looks beautiful!! So jealous you have the ability to see her in person.

Welcome Nicole! My name is Shonna and I'm organizing the FE list on a separate thread (it's listed underneath the main cruise thread on the meet page). I'll get you and your family added in the next day or so. :thumbsup2

Two of my girls will be in the tween club also, they are 11 and 12 (she turns 13 June 6). They hung out together in the tween club this past summer on the Dream and had a great time. I know they will be excited to get to know your daughter!!

Hi everyone!!

My name is Shannon and along with my DH Rick, we have 3 wonderful children....DD19 Morgan, DS16 Mitchell, and DD8 Melissa :cutie:. This will be our 4th Disney cruise and 2nd spring break cruise. Our other 2 cruises were Christmas cruises :santa: and although they were absolutely fantastic, they were also very expensive.....so back to spring break cruising for us haha

This cruise we will be adding DSIL19 Joel and our newest addition.....DGS Jordan , who will be 1 year old at sailing time. I can't wait to see him enjoy absolutely everything about disney!! (what's not to love, right?) We will be spending 5 days at WDW following the cruise as well. We have always combined our cruise with a stay at WDW and have done it both ways....WDW before AND after the cruise. I have to admit, I like going to WDW before the cruise just because WDW is much more hectic than the cruise, but for expense reasons, this is the cruise for us (the cruise that departs on the 23rd is $3,000 more per reservation ugh)

Even though it's over a year away, I am super excited (as I always when it comes to all things Disney) and can;t wait to get to know all of you :)

Thank you so much! Love FEs so I will check that thread out. On our cruise last spring break I was amazed by the creativity of my fellow FE participants.

Makenna, my oldest dd, will be so excited to hear there are already girls her age on this thread. She will turn 13 in October of this year. I will love getting to meet your girls.

Hi Shannon! Sounds like you have a great family cruise planned. We are considering adding a few days at WDW after the cruise as well. We are flying in from AZ so it kinda makes sense if we are coming all that way but the timing is a bit difficult as it is "peak" season for DVC rooms and I would want to use our points to stay at one of the resorts. Not sure we will have enough points at peak season rates to stay more than a couple days.

I also wanted the 3/23 sail date (mainly for the Puerto Rico port) but by the time I was ready to commit to booking, there were no options for a family of 5 on that cruise. All the publicity from the Fantasy coming over to the US seemed to really affect booking. Availability on this cruise changed as well during that week, so we ended up booking a Cat 4C rather than the 4D I had originally priced. No matter, this cruise is going to be amazing and I can't wait to get to know all of you over the next year.

Hello Shannon! I know your newest member of the family will love this trip. He is young but it doesn't matter.
We have only been to WDW once (I have been to DL once many years ago now) so this will be our first cruise. I am quite happy that we will be with so many that have been on several. Looking forward to meeting you along the way.
After the cruise we plan on being in WDW for two weeks! Yes we sure are making it a hectic time but so worth every minute of being there. This trip we also plan on going to Universal studios.
Glad to hear from you and can't wait to hopefully meet you during the cruise :goodvibes

I am not seeing a file when I click on this link.

I just went and see if there were anything to change in the settings. I think I may have fixed the problem ... please go have a look in the Cruise Logo file. I hope that works for you here is the link once again.

I hope this is the right link as I copied and pasted it from me logged in my own 4 shared. Please let me know. I am very new to this and really having to work and learn how this works. It is only my first try and I am thinking of designing another few.

Have a great day!
