March 14 18 Wonder Day 2 at Nassau
All 3 families met at Parrot Cay for the buffet breakfast at 8:00 pm. We decided to stay on the Ship while the other two families would go to the Atlantis this morning. My daughter knew that the Princess Characters would be coming out at the Atrium at 9:00 am so she finished breakfast fast. We were thinking to go back to the stateroom first but we were shocked to see a long line building up at the Atrium. So we started lining up. After 10 minutes we saw Cinderella, Snow White, Mulam, Wendy and Bell. My 5 year old girl was thrilled while her 7-year old brother sat aside to play with his GameBoy.
After the photo session we disembarked to visit the Straw Market and took some pictures at the Port Nassau. To get off the ship, adults have to show their KTTW card plus a photo ID. We walked a short distance to the Straw Market and since we were not very impressed by the Market, we returned to the Ship to watch the movie Teachers Pet at 10:30. Its not a very exciting movie but we were glad that we managed to finish the whole movie. After the movie we dropped the kids off at the kids clubs for lunch while my hubby and I went to Triton. Our friends soon came back from Atlantis and joined us for lunch. They said the aquarium was amazing. The serving team at Triton was wonderful and made us feel like kings and queens. I found that all crew members are really devoted to exceeding our expectations. For food, my hubby was impressed by the cheese cake and I like the Mickey Ice Cream Bar.
After lunch, we knew that our kids were having fun at the club enjoying the Professor Goos experiment; we adults went to Shutter to look for our photos and toured around the Ship. We purchased our Embarkation Portrait and prepaid a photo package of $ 89 for 10 photos. (We ended up buying 12 6*8 and 2 8*10 portraits). Then we took our kids back to the stateroom for some nap time. At 3:30 we signed them in for the Pirate programs and we adults went to deck 9 to relax ourselves. As soon as we sat down, our pager started beeping. Its our 5-year old daughter. She was scared by Capital Hook. We took her back and she stayed with us until its time to take photos with Donald, Daisy and Mickey and Minnie, we took our son with us to go for the portrait session.
We had dinner at Parrot Cay. We all loved the Papaya and Mango Soup which was rich and creamy. For main course my husband had the juicy Baby Back Ribs and I had fish. Both were good. As I was really full, I could hardly finish my ice-cream sundae.
After dinner, we went for the Variety Show: its Mark Nizer the juggler and the show was entertaining! All kids said its their favorite show. My son liked Mark so much that he said he would love to take Mark back to his school for Show and Tell time. We all burst laughing when hearing that!
After the show we went back to the room, packed the day bag for Castaway Cay and looked forward to seeing the renowned heaven on earth Private Island.
