March 13th 2011 Fiesta time on the Wonder!

Melissa!

Yes!! We do need to meet up sometime soon!! We are getting in LAX at I think 6:30 ish it was a non stop Southwest from KCI and we leave Sunday from LAX at 4:30 ish it is also Southwest non stop back! Are we on the same flight?? We just booked the Kraken whale watching outting in Cabo for our first day docked and have not booked anything for PV yet still thinking what we want to do. We really want a safe beach day but am told with a 2 year old and the 8 year old's there is no safe beach swimming for her so may just let them go play in the sand and be done. What are you all doing in PV? Let me know what works for you!

Teresa

In PV we are going to go swim with the dolphins and hang out at the waterpark afterwards. The place is calle Aquaventuras.

One day in Cabo we are going to meet up with some friends who will be on already be there and just go to Medano Beach.

Second day we are going to go snorkeling at Chileno Bay (spelling??). Just not sure if I am going to be brave and book something outside of the ship.

For the Arizona Meet and Greet...How about Friday February 4th and we just meet at one of the nice couch areas inside of Tempe Marketplace? Then we can check out Dave and Busters and if it is crazy then we just pick one of the other 20 places to eat.

We did a "dolphin adventure" at the Delfinario Sonora in Guaymas this past summer while on vacation. It was GREAT! They are so amazing to touch and handle. Everyone should have that on their Bucket List.

It is something that your kids can brag about for the rest of the school year.

Anyone know will we dock in PVR or tender? It shows 3 ships in port that day. Can't seem to find any info on this! It makes a difference on what time I book our ziplining excrursion.
Thanks,
Misand

So I'm getting gift idea going and if I think I know how this works, it sounds like the list will be split into 12 stateroom or 12 families so my gift(s) have to be 1 per room and I only do the stateroom once right? If anyone can shed some light on my thinking that would be great. Kathy

Ok,

Just received the most updated info for our cruise....waited on hold for over 35 mins so I am sure everyone is in the same boat as us!

Here is our schedule:

Sunday March 13 : Port departure 4:30 pm
Monday March 14 : sea day. FORMAL NIGHT
Tuesday March 15: Cabo 11:15 -5pm
Wed. March 16: PV. 8:45 -7pm. PIRATE NIGHT
Thursday March 17. Sea day
Friday. March 18. Cabo 7:15 - 1:30. SEMI FORMAL NIGHT
Sat. March 19. Sea day
Sunday March 20. Arrive at port

Now the agent I spoke with said the arrival times we " all ashore times"
And the departure times were " all aboard times" because of tendering in Cabo.

I believe the ships leave a half hour after the all aboard times. ( like leaving at 5:30 pm and 2pm)

Hope that helps out those who are planning some excursions outside of Disney.
We have to make some adjustments as well.

She also said the port adventure staff doesn' t work weekends so expect the port adventures for our new Cabo day to be available to book late Mon or Tuesday.

I would love to know the time you book for and where you are getting the shuttle. That is the one thing I am nervous about--getting to the office late and missing the shuttle. I would feel much better if I knew other people going so they might realize we are missing.

Meredith

Scott,

Hello! We are looking at booking this whale watching with Kraken also! Thank you so much for posting!:goodvibes

I haven't booked it yet as I wasn't sure of our port times. I sent an email to the Bucanner Queen though inquiring of availability. I wonder if DCL is using the same company for their pirate excursion. You actually booked it already? What was your day & time? That is neat. pirate:

We booked 9 of us for the 11:45 zip line adventure, leaving from the main office.

We plan to get off the ship at 10:30 or so, get a cab and be there a half hour earlier then expected. I believe it is a quick cab ride the office. 15 mins? Anyone know for sure?

That leaves us enough time to have a drink after and hang around a bit.

Our departure time has been extended now for PV which is great!

We dock. Remember that some ships listed in port have left now and are no longer doing the MR cruises. Carnival splender is one of them ( I believe....there is another mentioned on the board as well that is doing the Med. sailings now. Was it Marinier ??

That sounds like a great time. My husband would love it if we did not have to rush off the ship. However, I just found out that we have been moved to Main dining and not sure we would make it back in time. We would like to take advantage of the swimming and possibly the restaurant. Are y'all planning on eating there? or going swimming at all? How long are you thinking we would need if we want to do that?

Thanks,

Meredith

Meredith,

You are welcome to join us. We are early dining as well.
Not to worry. I am sure it can be done and we can be back by 5:45.The men in our party do not want to get up early. I will enjoying the cafe cove at 7 am for sure!

We are 4 adults with 5 kids, all doing zip lining for the first time.
I am a little nervous about flagging down a cab, getting there on time, etc.
But I am really trying to just go with the flow, and I am sure it will all work out.
Even if we are a little late for dinner they will still serve us. It is not a recommended practice, but we have seen people show up as we are being served our deserts....:rolleyes1

That would be great! Are you planning on staying for a little after zip lining to enjoy the facilities? What are the ages of the kids? I have a DS9 and DD13.

Hi Teresa!
I think we may have the same flight to LAX. We are on flight 0146 departing at 4:50pm, arriving at 6:30. For the flight home, we have a later one, leaving at 6:20pm.
We haven't booked anything for Cabo yet... but in PV we are doing the Las Caletas excursion through DCL... What day of the week works best for all of you to get together? Talk to you soon!!!

Yes we are hoping to stay for a bit and check out the water hole/slide and mini zoo. Maybe test some tequila....;)

I have three somewhat shy boys 14, 12 and 10, and my girlfriend has two lovely girls, 15 and 10.
I am nervous about ziplining, but really looking forward to trying something new.

How did you decide to go to the main office? We were told to book college disco.
