Finished DD cheer T-shirt

Cute t-shirt!!! I was going to let DD do hers. Maybe I should help. Although she is 13 and was looking forward to doing it.

I can't find Bonine. I have heard about it but can't find it! I looked at our local pharmacy and they don't carry it. Maybe I can find some when we get to California. I also had blurry vision when I wore the patch on the last cruise! It was terrible. I didn't wear it for long when it made everything blurry.

We use Bonine, as it also promotes skin healing, in the surgery center I run and get it from Whole Foods or Wild Oats.

My daughters designed their own.... they turned out cute, but you can tell they didn't have any adult help :)

Called DCL: Day 3: Formal Night, Day 4: Pirate Night, Day 6:Semi Formal.

ARRRR - I thought Formal night was Day 2. I have Palo on Day 3.

We are the same. I booked Palo night three because formal WAS NIGHT two.

Now that means we miss the Golden Mickeys, or go the early show and kids will miss the formal dining.

When we book Palo, we book it at8:30 so we can still take the kids to dinner and go to a show together.

Don't want to miss GM as this is our friends first time.........not sure what we are going to do. We might cancel dinner if we can't change it.

I almost started packing yesterday but then realized we need the suitcases to go to Atlanta for a cheer competition this coming weekend. Looks like I'll be waiting until the last minute again.

:lovestruc:lovestruc  Over the Shirt you made. It is darling!

Im going to copy this idea if that is okay. I still havent made DD's. Im finding myself afraid of the puffy paint. No do overs. :sad2:

Good luck with the cheer competition!! And welcome to the South!! As of right now it should be a nice weekend!!!

I am going to pull out DH's suitcase today!! I just can't wait any longer. :rotfl:

Golden Mickeys is a show usually on Formal night. There is an interviewer outside of the theatre, like someone would be walking on the red carpet.
It is a really nice show an we never miss it!! We usually try to see it during the matinee.

We can't put our luggage tags on until after our flight to CA!! But I have them in hand. They will be in my carry on so the airline doesn't lose them.
I have been reading trip reports this AM. I am a little concerned about the rough seas on the first and last night. Three out of six of us get really sea sick. I have some OTC seasick stuff, but I don't want to fall asleep either.

Any suggestions? Should I call the doctors office and see if there is anything that won't make me sleepy!!

Hope, just stay with me and I'll keep your mind off it. We can play cards or something. Just talking will keep your mind off it.

Sounds great to me Denise!! I just put the pirate masks in the suitcase. I hope they don't get squished....but for .22 cents they will be worth it :) I should have bought everyone they had for that price!!!

I know a lot of us have late dinner seating....wouldn't it be great if we were on the same rotation?! I wish we could call and say "Hey, all the Dis'ers want to be on the same rotation!!"

I bought groceries for the last time before we leave. We will make due with what we have until we get back.

DH packed his suitcase tonight. I just realized that I have the generic form of Bonine in my suitcase. We bought it before our last cruise. The expiration date is Nov. 2010. I wonder if that matters?

Yay! I love my rep at shoretrips, they put this together for us:

FAMILY BEACH DAY IN CABO
Included in this beach package
• Round-trip transportation is included
• English speaking guide - great with kids!
• Boxed lunches for everyone
• Activities for the kids (snorkel, boogie board and more)
• Chairs and umbrellas for adults

Sign up now for this great beach day that is super family friendly!

We'll make it easy and take care of everything, so your only job is to have fun! After meeting you at the pier, we'll start to make our way towards Chileno Bay, about a 30 minute drive.

Chileno Bay is a wonderful area for kids especially because the water tends to be a bit calmer as it's protected by the bay. This means it's an ideal spot for snorkeling and other water activities!

Once you arrive, we'll get the kiddies set up with an English speaking guide who will teach them how to snorkel and boogie board! We will also have a bunch of toys for sandcastle fun! Let the creativity begin!

Adults, we've got you covered to. Lounge on your beach chairs under your very own umbrella... or take a dip in these lovely waters!

All in all a wonderful day, perfectly planned.

SOO happy. We had such trouble, we wanted a kid friendly BEACH, not a pool, in Cabo and for some reason that was nearly impossible! I had tentatively held the Resort day through DCL, I am so excited...love them!

Another option for sea sickness is ginger capsules, they have worked for me.

Mark.

Ok Golden Mickey's...please explain to the Disney Cruise Newbie. Sounds like something I can't and don't want to miss. Thanks

You really don't want to miss ANY OF THE SHOWS. They are all fantastic. All Aboard(first night)Golden Mickeys(formal night) Toy Story, Dreams(semi formal) and Till We Meet Again,( the last night) . All wonderful shows.
The other nights are Pirate night on deck 9 (Wednesday night) and usually a comedy act or entertainer of some sort. All in the theatre on deck 4(except pirate night) after first dining (8 pm)or before second seating dining(6pm).

You will get a navigator in your stateroom each night. It's like a flyer describing all the events and times of shows for the following day. Make sure to take a look at them nightly so you don't miss out !

Just wanted to share..

Was planning on booking our Sept. 2012 trip on board, but the Fantasy is already booking up the room I needed. There are 5 of us and there are about 9 8D categories (large window) that will fit five..it's almost half the cost of the next category that will fit five (4D) and even if we got two rooms...the inside staterooms are more $$ b/c of the virtual stateroom that it doesn't save us much if at all to book two. And we really want a window...so I had reserved one (only 4 left) last week, was calling again to re-reserve it, hoping I could do this until we sail...the Disney rep took pity on me and put an extended hold on our ressie so that I could take advantage of the on board specials but still hold the 8D room...I did not know they could do that...so happy he could, now we only have to pay half the deposit which will be soo nice! :)

Yay, that is awesome! I had one of those large oceanviews, loved it. I'm so excited for you!

Hope,
This is scott_twinsmom's husband. My wife had already headed to bed when I saw your post. She is a Nurse Practitioner, so I went up and asked her about the expiration date. She would advise not to take the Bonine, or any medicine, after the expiration date.

Hope this helps,
Chris
