Thanks for letting us in the group at such a late date. You will not be disappointed! I am quite crafty & have been making all kinds of wonderful Disney FE gifts for our family... for months! Now that I've honed my skills, I will pick the best of what I've made already for our family, and make more to share with all of you. Looking forward to this trip immensely! ~Tina

Hey there,

Of course!!

Really excited to have you in our FE!

Katie

Tina - Welcome to the group! So glad that your family can join us!

I just finished our fish extenders this past weekend. They were my first sewing project in quite a long time, so I'm pleased with how they turned out. My mom is getting rather excited, too! She plans to play at least a couple games of bingo. Aurora and I have been gathering in for fish extender gifts so it really helps out that we finalized the group.

:)

Yay! I'm excited we have our group!! So, how does this work? Do we do a gift for each person for each night? Is there a price range?

My understanding was that it is your discretion. I believe the whole idea is to have fun. We have one thing that we're giving for Pirate night but then we have gifts in addition to that as well. We don't plan on giving away one gift per night per person, though.

I hope this helps!

It does! Thanks so much

It is exciting! I've worked so hard these past few weeks making things, I can't wait to give them to all the kids. ~Just adds to the excitement. :)

Tina - Is Alex your DS or DD? I can't find if you've already said. I'm sorry that I'm confused.

Alex is DS, assuming that means son? Sorry, I've been meaning to ask what DD & DS mean. LOL

Hey guys, there's one thing I wanted to throw out there. Although we are 1st timer's on a Disney cruise, we've been taking our kids to Florida for spring break for quite a few years. The first time we took them, we stayed on the Tampa side on Treasure Island. The kids thought it was super cool because they were sure they were going to find buried treasure (which is another story, because we did plant some & used a GPS app to mark the spot) but what I wanted to suggest is this:

Every morning when they woke up, they would find golden chocolate coins under their pillows. ~Sort of like the tooth fairy, but cooler because they thought it came from pirates. I will say that is the one thing they all remember most about our trips to Florida: the chocolate coins under their pillows. ~It's a cheap thrill, and it starts each day off with excitement because they can't wait to see if the coins will be there again as soon as they wake up!

Just a suggestion I thought I'd share. :)

I know this is very late... we have two rooms on cruise departing on 3/13. We would love to join FE group if any chance. We have three sweet girls (7,4,3) traveling with us that would love to take part. Then myself and my MIL. We would love to take part if possible. I even have an idea of what to do... just started researching this a week ago and found this board tonight. Any chance we could join?

Leslie - I was waiting to see if Katie weighed in on this decision since she organized the rest of the group. I've not seen anything from her, though.

My group, cabins 8018 and 8020, will exchange with your cabins. I'm not making a decision for anyone else, though. I don't want to create a mutiny or anything like that. ;)

However, if any of the other cabins decides to exchange, I think we're safe in leaving it up to the individual cabins.

I hope this gives your group the opportunity you are looking for.

We're in cabin 7648. We're happy to include you as well. I have family in 3 other cabins. If they want to also, I will let you know, but I don't want to commit for them since they've already started finalizing their gifts.
