I just finished my fish extenders - nothing like waiting til the last minute

Not sure if this is a silly question or not - but how will I find all the rooms? Do they provide a map of the ship in our rooms?

On the first day they give you a map of the ship. I just organized by deck levels last time.

Those of you able to pack because you are still in winter mode are lucky...we are now wearing our warm weather clothes so will be washing the night before and packing the day of (which is usually what I do anyway)...This time next week will be arriving in MCO and staying at the Sheraton

Marcy -- did you order a cake for yourself??? Dont forget we need to meet for birthday drink.

Traveled over to my mothers to bring her a bag and pack for her. Now just need to pack two dtrs and myself. I rather bring too much than be missing something.

Rob -- I also talked to my girls about not peting or talking to your dog. My youngest will have a hard time with that one. Hopefully, she will not impose.

Planning on taking Happy Limo to the ship. Seemed to cost just as much as taking the transport.

FYI to those renting and traveling by yourselves beware there was a truck explosion on the freeway. May need to take alternate route. There was a note on the disboards.

I've been a raging B all week knowing everything I have to accomplish before Thursday! I packed my suitcase tonight, so I'm feeling a bit better. Although it could be the Cabernet making me feel better?!

I haven't packed the kids yet, but everything is washed and ready to go. i also need to get one more thing for the guys for the FE exchange. You guys are tough!

One week for today we'll be watching the fireworks at MK!

I bet you are excited as your trip is just a week away.

We have a large group here on the boards that is sailing on the Magic April 16th. We were wondering if there was anyone who wouldn't mind keeping all of the Navigators from your trip and scanning them in when you get home? The most recent ones we can find are dated Oct of 2010, and a set of the more recent would help us all with our planning.

Nah, last thing I want on DCL is a regular old birthday cake. A simple slice of something sinfully chocolate with a candle in it is fine.
Birthday Drinks could be happening pretty much all day! We'll toast at some point!!

Packed one large suitcase so far. DH's vacation stuff (he'll be on a business trip to Chicago right up to the day we sail), all the FE exchange gifts, and a couple other things. Weighs 45 lbs, so have to stop stuffing stuff into it!

Tried on everything I have set out to pack. Good thing: altered a couple things, washed things, fixed some shoes...
DD14 and I wear almost the same size so we'll coordinate a lot of what we pack.

Been watching Disney movies while going through stuff and trying on outfits. First watched Pinocchio and now the first Pirates in the Caribbean
Getting in the spirit!!

I have a question about kids and charging privileges. DD10 and DD7 have some money that was given to them by their grandparents. Can I give them charging privileges up to a specific dollar limit?

I can't believe that one week from right now we'll be finishing our first dinner onboard. We've been anticipating this for so long and now it's almost here. We are just soooo excited!

No it is all or nothing as far as charging.Maybe you can start them out charging and watch your folio and then cut them off when they reach their limit.

Regarding bev. for the bev station on deck 9 I believe is it best to bring your own bev container?? Should I bring one or thinking they will have one on the ship to purchase in the gift shop??

We have never seen mugs/bev containers for sale on the ship( 6 Disney cruises), we bring our own

My DDs have been posting messages on the kids thread regularly and are really excited about meeting the others. Laura's very intrigued by your son's Hedgehog and it seems like our two 7 year olds have a lot in common! They're very excited.

I think we're meeting at the Promenade Lounge at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Yes, that's THIS SATURDAY!

Packing is nearly done...now I just need the next two days at work to fly by before we hit the road on Wednesday.

As my kids say...only 6 more sleeps!!!!!!

The hedgehog is very popular amongst my kids friends. The poor creature hardly ever has his feet on the ground. Surprising since he is about as cuddly as a pin cushion!

Packing like mad this weekend! We are flying from Flint 7am Thursday Morning. The kids will be zombies that day.

Hi all

My kids are keep asking which is pirate night. They are really excited about their costumes. When is that?

We have our suitcases half full in the hall right now. How many do you think we can safely fit in a room? I think we might be going overboard! Looks like we will have one big case, two medium and two carry ons and a soft cooler on wheels.
