I received my docs today! Yea!---But, they have someone else's name on parts of them!!!!!!! I have a call into my TA. The ME docs are wrong. These other people are travelling 3/31. They have time to get theirs. I'm going to see if they will overnight mine. Just for piece of mind!!!!

Not yet...but they are on their way! My TA gave me a tracking number and I have been following these docs across the country! They left Orlando on 2/22...then to Louisville, Nashville, Memphis, Mesquite, and Houston yesterday. At 12:13 am today they were signed "out for delivery". I just hope I have better luck than Angie! We leave a week from tomorrow.

OK--got my Docs yesterday! Yeah!

Anyway, I guess I was expecting the Docs to be more and I want to make sure I have all I should have:

I did all the online check in part--and so the only things that came were:
1) luggage tags
2)a little checklist that also showed a map of the Orlando Airport
3) a guest letter
4) a Travel booklet that has: a) a page that says DCL/DME transportation with all 3 of our names and a bar code for each of us b) a couple of pages of information c) a page for each of us that says Transfer Coupon and says Airport-Resort/Port and thats it.

We are using Magical Express to take us from the Airport to a Disney Resort where we're staying for a couple of nights before the cruise (arranged on our own, not part of a Land/Sea). Then we are taking the DCL bus from resort to the Port and then are taking the DCL bus from port at the end of the cruise back to the airport.

So, does it sound like I have all I need???

We received our docs on Friday!


I was really excited to see a shuttle launch - oh well maybe another time!!

We just found out about the launch and now we find out it's not going to happen. Better safe then sorry!

I really thought I wasn't able to see the shuttle start because all foreign cruise guests had to go to immigration at the Walt Disney theatre at 6 a.m. My fear was not getting out of this by 6:43 a.m. No I can't see the shuttle due to hail damage !!!! Come on, hail in Florida ?!?

I'm bummed about the Space Shuttle too!! Would have made an excellent finish!!

Anyway....now for my middle school Deutsch: Ich habe in Schweinfurt und Wiesbaden und Wuerzburg gewohnt. Ich spreche nur ein bisschen Deutsch. Wo wohnen sie??

Other than "Wo ist der Bahnhof" that's about all I remember except for certain words like langweilig (my favorite to use in school). Here's hoping there are no 'langweiling' moments on our cruise!!

Ok, now I'm bummed, not about the shuttle, but I still haven't received my docs. I emailed my TA and she said they would be delivered to her first and then she would mail to me--has anyone heard of this before?!

That's why my TA stopped this and Disney sends them directly to the cruisers. I know that doesn't help you right now, but maybe you can suggest this to your TA.

Hmm, Schweinfurt, Wiesbaden, Würzburg sounds like army, well what else. I live in Oberasbach, near Nuernberg (Nuremberg).

And don't worry, your cruise won't be langweilig (boring).

Have you called and asked about them. Maybe you could get a tracking number and see where they are at right now.

I believe if they don't come in time there is a way to get them at the terminal, but I am not sure how that is done. I had friends go once and they didn't book until right before the cruise so there wasn't enough time to send them and they picked them up at the terminal.

Don't worry if the docs don't make it. You can pick them up at the pier....just keep your TA informed. Ours were shipped on 2/22 and didn't arrive until 2/28 so they are taking longer than normal.

All you HAVE to have with you at the port is your drivers license and birth certificate or your passport. They can do everything else there if need be. Now if you have DCL transfers you will need luggage tags or Disney won't claim your luggage so make sure and claim it if the tags don't arrive. The porters can write up luggage tags and tag your bags at the pier so the bags get to your room.

Some agencies do have the docs shipped directly to them and some have DCL ship them directly to the guest.

I hope this is right. Last year when we went it was chilly the day we boarded and I had to keep my jacket on while outside.
