YAY! Our little group is steadily growing!

Welcome Gina from Ottawa! We have one other Gina from Canada too! What ages are your friend's girls? There is at least one other boy around 15 and a few girls around age 11 as part of our group. When my daughter and I last cruised, she was almost 14 and had a great time e-mailing with some of the other girls in our group before the cruise started. They got to know each other a bit before the cruise then had fun hanging out in the Kid's Clubs with them during the cruise.

This is our third cruise so I'm happy to answer questions for you or anybody. Gina from Toronto is a veteran cruiser and probably has some great timps for all of us.

Hi Crusin' Peeps!

This was my week to feel like our cruise wasn't too far away...although I know it really is.

It has been 'Florida hot' here in NH this week with temps in the 90s and a fair amount of humidity. I don't mind it and it helps me remember exactly what Florida 90 degrees feels like so I've been making mental notes on what summer stuff I need to pack.

In addition to the hot- Southwest Air opened up their ticket window through March 8th so I was able to get a decent fare for our flight down. Now I just have to be patient for the next set of dates so I can book our return but at least I have tickets to get us there!!

I hope everybody has been having a great summer. Great to see a few more peeps find our group.

Gina- glad you had fun with your Ft. Wilderness experience- what a blast to rent a golf cart!!

Hey Liz.

The summer has been crazy hot here in Toronto too. Can't get over the temps, we are close to lake Ontario so am thankful for the breeze we get.

We looked at SWA as well as we always fly out of BUF. We may be driving this time tho. Not sure yet.

I cannot believe that aug is just about here, school will be starting and before you know it we will be cruisin'!! Yahoo

March 10th will be our first ever cruise

My dd Jenna is 11 and my ds Jacob will be 14 so our kidlets will probably run into eachother at the kids clubs. Both of mine have met friends through the disboards meets and are always so excited to meet them onboard.

There are lot of Canadians here, I guess we are all taking advantage of our march break.

When we were on the TA cruise we were able to take advantage of the 14 days to really enjoy so much on the ship. I have to say that although expensive, bingo is so much fun. It's not at all serious, it's quite silly actually and with a Disney spin on it. Plus my kidlets could come too which my dd loved. The until We meet again show always makes me cry. I do love Disney .

I wish we had more time on the ship as it my first on the dream and I know 4 days will not be enough. Those repeat dream cruisers will have to give us some tips. .

I'm still on the fence about the FE list. I'm leaning towards it but looking into gift ideas first.

1) What is the cut of date for that decision?

2) How do you add to the bottom of your replies with past Disney trip dates?

1. There hasn't been a cut off date set yet. It is a pretty small list at this point but I know we will need final numbers so people can get there FE's in order. We sail March 10th, would February 1st be a good cut off or do people need more time?

Those that are participating, could you share your thoughts in this please.

We too are from Ontario-- About 4 hours south of Toronto . Near Windsor. We are so excited for this cruise! It will be our 3rd. But first time for my daughter's boyfriend who is joining us. We also went to Universal a few weeks ago..my DD and I with some friends. That was our first visit to Universal..it made me miss Disney terribly We are deciding on the FE We have never done the FE and we are just concerned about having room to pack stuff. This is a silly ?? but do we bring an item for each day or just one day? Not sure how it worked entirely.

I agree missed the Disney touch at universal. Just not the same at all. Harry potter "land" was neat but so small. Won't be rushing back.

You would bring one item per stateroom. You would only deliver the one time. It doesn't seem to be a big group thus far so I'm not sure it will take alot of room. Guess it depends on what you decide to bring.

I totally agree with your opinion about HP Land. In fact I was mildly disappointed. I can't do the thrill rides since I'm scared of heights, so the fact that there was nothing but two thrill rides and a kid's ride meant all I could do was shop (and I did). I felt that all the empty store fronts were really disappointing and felt that they could have done a few things bigger. They have already announced an expansion, so I'll wait and see what comes out of that.
