March 10, 2013 - 4 day Dream Getaway!!

Hi all,

Just wondering and looking for input,

1. We sail March 10th, would February 1st be a good cut off or do people need more time for the FE.

2. I know its a short cruise but do we want to come up with a name/logo for
those that do magnets for their doors.

Once we have a cut off date I will ask for everyone to PM me their stateroom numbers and I will type up a list for everyone to print off and pm/email to everyone. That way we are not posting staterooms.

Thanks
Gina

I think February 1 would be a good cut off date. I thought I was late booking so I'm surprised by the few on the FE list. Do you think more will join in the next couple of months?

If not, then I certainly think 2/1 is fine for the cut off, but I'm new to this so my opinion does not carry any weight!

Yes, this is a slow moving thread. I agree that February 1 is a good cut off date too and of course your opinion counts! You are sailing too! Can't wait! Whoo woo

Just booked this for spring break, 1st crusie for our family. Me, hubby, and our 2 last kids at home. Kevin (19 at time of sailing) and Randie (12), we live in Houston, Tx Would love to participate in FE.

Welcome!!!!!

You will not regret it, it may be your first cruise but it won't be your last. They are so wonderful!

I have added you to the FE list.

Does the Dream have a professional photgrapher on board for photo shoots?

They have photo pass photographers that set up before dinners and with the characters for you to pose for professional style photos. We always get a pkg because they always turn out so nicely.

I don't think they do personal photo shoots but I could be wrong. I think you just line up for the background you want and they take lots of different poses.

Hi Fellow Cruisin' Peeps!

I haven't had a chance to post in forever it seems!

Summer is officially behind us which means our cruise is getting closer! :cool1:

It has been a crazy start to the school year for us with DD having just had knee surgery to reconstruct her torn ACL. She is doing great and off crutches but with no sports until spring- talking about this cruise is helping keep her spirits up.

Nice to see a few more folks find us. I noticed that the 3/7 sailing doesn't have a thread started at all yet so I'm thankful for our little group.

Feb 1st for a FE cutoff date sounds fine with me! As for logo/name- I'm up for that too but not very creative but my 45 min commute to work is usually good for pondering that sort of thing. I'll think about it.

Hope everybody is having a good start to fall!

Liz

Excited about our March cruise, have any of you gone on a cruise during the month of March before? hopefully no rain. Working on door magnets now.

We went March 2011 and the weather was beautiful. We didn't have any rain, but you never know! Welcome!

Gone twice during March, great weather both times. Some people thought the water at CC was cool, we swam both trips and it was fine!

We are also planning on booking our next cruise while on board! Just waiting for 2014 dates to be released so we have an idea where we would like to go.

That is nice, do they give a discount if you book while on the cruise? Any ideas if this cruise date March 10, 2013 will be a sold out cruise?

Generally, you get a 10% re-booking discount. If you are thinking about it, go as soon as you get on board and have an idea about your dates and the cruises you want to consider. It cuts down on the amount of time you have to wait in line.

We were on this same cruise almost two years ago (Spring Break for most TX schools for sure), and I'm sure it did sell out, but we never really felt it.

10 percent discount, sometimes 1/2 deposit down with booking and also an onboard credit of $100.00 and up depending on how long of cruise.

I agree missed the Disney touch at universal. Just not the same at all. Harry potter "land" was neat but so small. Won't be rushing back.

You would bring one item per stateroom. You would only deliver the one time. It doesn't seem to be a big group thus far so I'm not sure it will take alot of room. Guess it depends on what you decide to bring. :)

Let me know if you want me to add you to the list :)

Gina

Gina...sorry but I just want to clarify ONE item per stateroom VS per person int the stateroom?? Sorry for all the questions. :) Can you give this "Fish Extender Virgin" an idea of what sorts of items people give?? And so we pick the day??
