Ya, I probably will change into something more comfortable after dinner. I don't want to be in an uncomfortable dress all night So, I got my sea safe lotion today, I am going to start getting my stuff organized right now! Talk to you all soon..I almost don't want the cruise to come because then it will be all over

I know! I am already starting to think about how bad im gonna feel to have to get off the ship I think the only thing that is gonna save me is I am going to be soooooooooooooo ready to get home to my baby that I might try to fly the plane myself to get to her faster!

I didn't know that you weren't bringing her? Ya, I would be the same way. That's why we are going on a Disney cruise. My DH would so rather be going on a trip just us two. But I just can't leave him at home.

So, anyways just sorted out all of the clothes, and my DS is all set. Funny story, my DH is a procrastinator and also not a huge Disney fan like me. He asked what I wanted for Valentine's day? My response was, let's go shopping for all of your cruise clothes!! He's not impressed but this is going to be the best Valentine's day ever! (my husband in the mall) hehe!

WooHoo! Our cruise docs just arrive! We're in room 1038 with a view! Now I'm just waiting for dd's birth certificate to come in the mail. I've got dd mostly packed, just need to pick up some shoes for her. Ds 5 is half way packed still need to get a few more things for him too.

I am really glad that I am not the only one who had to go and buy dh, and ds/dd new......things! Everytime i turn around I have been buying something else for us. The extra things may very well add up to be as much as the cruise

That's funny--I have felt the very same way and my boss just asked me tonight what I'm planning for after the cruise because it's going to be such a let-down when I get back...after all these months and months of planning for it.

I can't bear to think about how much I've spent on al the "extras" that we just had to have. As I'm packing I keep finding little things that somebody needs and so it goes on my list for next time I'm out shopping. Arrrgh!

Ya, I definetly have spent the cruise amount on clothes for our trip. I'm a shopper though, it's in my blood! I also work at Old Navy, so it's easy to come home with a bag every night! It's coming to an end tonight, and then just waiting for the stuff that I ordered online to come in. Being in Maine it's nice to think about warm weather. I am all set with snow! 2 Weeks I will be sipping a Margarita and partying it up with all of you! I bought a waterproof digital camera so I can take it in the water! We booked jetskiing at Castaway Key so that will be cool to take lot's of pics too! Have a good Valentine's everybody!

Hey, guys! NASA delayed the launch until at least Feb. 27th!!!!
Meaning we might get to see the launch from the Wonder. I'm trying not to get my hopes up....that would be sooo cool!

Hi Fellow Cruisers! Happy Valentine's Day!

I checked the Weather Channel just for grins and it's 81 sunny degrees in Nassau today.

I found some Wave Runners (water shoes) at Meijer's today. I've been looking every where so I'm very happy to cross that off my list. Still waiting for my SafeSea to arrive.

We got busy last night and made some magnets for our door and a matching anniversary t-shirt to wear at MK after the cruise.

We leave 2 weeks from today - I am so excited!

Oh my gosh! I accidentally clicked on the thread for the Magic Cruises. When I couldn't find our sailing date I panicked and thought you all had sailed without me!!!!

Just wanted to mention in case anyone was looking for this . . . I found a Pirate bandana with skulls and crossbones at Clare's tonight. I checked out a few party supply stores earlier this week with no luck. Tonight I wasn't even looking so naturally I found it. I read that Disney no longer provides bandanas for Pirate night.

If they left without you, then they left without me too! Thanks for the headsup about the bandanas. i have been trying to decide what to do about that. We won't be "dressing up" for pirate night. We just have too much else to bring with us, but I would like to get in the spirit just a little! Although I have no idea how my black dress pants and dress shirts will go with skulls and cross bones!

We are going totally OUT of our normal comfort zone and dressing up for Pirate night. The kids think it's great when mom and dad get into it too.

I'm almost packed! I've discovered some interesting things about my family while packing for this trip...for instance....who REALLY needs new underwear and how do certain members of the family go from week to week with so few pairs . It's a mystery! (and I won't be naming any names...to protect the innocent of course). I'll just be adding that to my walmart list!

I was thinking tonight about the episode of Friends where Monica & Chandler go on their honeymoon and meet the other couple and think they are such great friends. They come back all excited about these new friends and then find out the other couple is completely avoiding them. Anyway, in the spirit of making new friends (and hopefully NOT annoying them), I posted a question about places & times for a DISmeet on the cruise thread. I'll put some suggestions in another post and then everyone can decide which one you like the best. OK? I did have dreams of being a cruise director when I was young...used to watch Julie on "Love Boat" all the time.

Has everyone checked out the Cruise FAQ's thread? Oh my gosh! I was on there tonight and I can't believe the wealth of information. I even found reviews of my cabin.

Of course they also had a list of menus which left me drooling.

Its funny that you were thinking about that friends episode because I was thinking about another just the other night, Does anyone remember the one where Ross has the spray on tan but gets confused and ends up having his front sprayed like 4 times? I was asking the nice boy at my tanning place about the spray on tan and said I really dont want to end up like Ross in that friends episode! He just stared at me, i tried to explain but stopped half way through he is just 19 and has only seen "like one episode, and I just didn't get it"! I left feeling old and I know Im the crazy "lady" now to all of them CHILDREN!
Anyway I promise not to avoid you either. Im always the "monica" of new friendships

Are you getting a spray-on tan? My DH got me a gift certificate for one for Valentine's Day. I am a little afraid that it won't work or it will look all streaky. I am not sure if I am really going to get it done before the cruise -- I just wondered if any of you have any experience with them. Thanks!

Ok, so have we decided if we are all meeting? And Spray tan, I am somewhat of a tanaholic and I have done spray tan before. It looks really good but if you are sweating or swimming alot it will become streaky or splotchy. I did it for my wedding and when I took my dress of the whole thing was orange on the inside! It looked good on my skin but wore off on my clothes. I am so excited!I think this is going to be the longest two weeks of my life!!

BTW...we went to Medieval Times once and DH was mostly excited because he got to call the waitress "wench" all evening.

ShawnaH, I think you and I must be soul sisters. Thanks for promising not to avoid me, and I too am usually the Monica in my relationships. Fortunately I know it enough to try and not let my neuroses become too obvious! And I love that episode of Friends. IMHO, Friends is the funniest show ever.
