Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS where FE began years ago.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has come forward recently to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread. There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS.

Are you still planning to compile a list for the FE?
If not, I will do it. I am new to this so not quite sure the best way to get everyone's info. Looks like we have most everything except room numbers. For some reason, I cannot PM people yet, perhaps because I just joined the board.

I learned that you cannot PM until you have 10 posts, which I do not, and I see most of you do not either. Thus I will need to handle this via email rather than PM.
So here is how I will organize this.
I created an email account just for this cruise. magicmar115@gmail.com
A lot of people have shown interest in doing the FE, but it is getting late now, so I need those that are still interested and going to participate to reconfirm they are in. I also need your room number so I can let others know where to deliver the gifts.
SO>>>>> Please respond with the following by Friday Feb 13th. I will email back a compiled list of those that are in late Friday night. That will give 2 weekends (YIKES!) for everyone to prepare their FE items.
- Reconfirm number in your cabin participating
- whether they are adults/or ages of the children. Most have already shared names above so include names if you are comfortable.
- Are there any allergies or other special restrictions (such as no alcohol for the adults).
- Anything else you'd like to share that may help with gift selection - such as favorite characters, favorite activities, or other likes/dislikes (optional)
