I just peeked at Accuweather...looks like I need to switch out my gear (again) -

Sunday:
low 55 (feel real 52), high 68deg


I had planned on a mid-to-low 40s start temp...time to pull out the pants and put capris back in!

Race start temps are Saturday Lows not Sunday lows........ Still in the 40's. So Sunday AM is 47, Sunday 68 and Sunday night 55

I had the same conversation with my wife, my spin class and my co-worker this morning..... It's a common thing with the way they lay out forecasts.

No forecast waiting on DW to clear the shower so I can hop in.....


Just 100% HAPPY that this is not race day. Weather.com has the current temp at 64F. It's about 5:20am so this could have been the start temp if the weather was 2 days out of phase.

Plus, it is raining like crazy right now, and we just had a huge electrical storm

Well, I hope it gets all THAT out of its system! Warmish and electrical storm would not be my last choice for weather....but close!

My last run before the half was this morning at my parents' 1 hour north of WDW. 60 degrees, cloudy and muggy, ugh. Imagine my surprise when I stepped back outside about half an hour after I finished and found it suddenly cooler, clear, and crisp. I should have really slacked off and went for my run later! But the good thing is that *now* it's the weather I want for my race, whew!
