I'm sure Disney endurance events include race photos. Does Disney have PhotoPass photographers in the parks around the characters during the events also?

I'm running the half and want character photos badly, but don't want to carry my camera. They'd get my money, that's for sure.

ALSO, if they do have photogs in the parks, is there anywhere I can get a Photopass card outside the parks? We don't plan to enter the parks until Saturday.

I know someone knows.

Ronda: They do not offer photopass during the races. You may get lucky and catch one in the latter part of the course when the parks are open, but I wouldn't count on it. If you want character pictures you will need to carry a camera.

They also have ASI photographers (they do photos for a lot of races all over the country) on the course - they're in some really good places along the half course - like in front of the castle, and with Spaceship Earth in the background, and at the finish line - but they will not be taking pictures of people with the characters.

I highly recommend picking up a iFitness or SPIbelt to carry your camera, if it is a small point and shoot, and you want pictures with the characters. You can wear it under your shirt (with the camera in the back) and you won't even notice it. Worse comes to worse, they sell both brands at the expo, so you can decide last moment whether you want to do it. I now carry my camera in my SPIbelt to all races I do, and even sometimes on long training runs; it's nice to have some photos, even if its just in your hometown. I got some gorgeous pictures of the sun setting behind the Olympic Mountains over Puget Sound, just last night! And the SPIbelt really doesn't bother me, and no one can even see it if the camera is hidden in the small of my back.

Thanks for the replies. I just got a SPIBelt for my birthday! The reflective one. I like it, but it doesn't hold the camera AND my phone. Do you carry your mobile phone during races?
