Marathon Weekend- ordering collector pins?

Hi there!

I will be running the Goofy race and a half at WDW in January 2012. I am a pin collector and have ordered the Goofy race pins with my race registration. My question: Is it possible to also order the Donald (half) and Mickey (full) pins? Do I just register for the pins at Active and if so, how do I get the pins? I know the Goofy pins will be added into my race packet, but what about the ones for the other races? Any help is appreciated!

Go to the Marathon site and look at the bottom of the left menu. You will "Commemorative Items". There you can 'register' through Active for the other pins.

Note that you must pick the pins up at the expo. The pin pickup is a separate stop from everything else. Just keep your eyes open in the HP Pavilion (the building where the bibs are handed out) to see where to pick up the pins.

I know that this year there were plenty of all 3 pins at the expo and the commemorative ones you order early are no different then the ones you can pick up there. One of my friend's pre-ordered his and I just bought mine. We compared them and didn't see any difference.

I do know in the past they had special pre-order only pins but it seems those are no longer done.
