SAFD: As another Atlanta area person, I'll echo several earlier people in that the heat and humidity are just a fact of life here that I deal with. I do most of my running in the late afternoon, which means during the summer it can be brutal T+D. Most of my weekday runs are at or just under an hour, so I hydrate before and after I run, but don't carry any water with me. Yes, I sweat buckets of water, and typically sit on the front porch cooling off before I go inside. I do slow my pace a bit, but when that happens, it is usually out of necessity, as in I have to take a walk break due to the heat. (cue Scotty saying, "I dinna think she'll take much more, Captain!")
This summer will be the first time I've more diligently adhered to a RWR method, so we'll see if that changes anything much.

. But I DO love being finished with my run before most people are out of bed.

. One of my favorite runs during training is driving 45 minutes out to the Silver Comet trailhead in Cobb and getting started just before sunrise.
