Marathon Weekend 2026

Below is this years HM shirt with a Brooks shirt on top!

Do we all run TCM? :hyper: I always love the TCM shirts but they run smaller every year, I swear. The runDisney unisex men's small is plenty roomy on me, but I usually take a unisex M in Brooks. That's not a very inclusive size range if they only go up to men's XXL. 😥 Can only hope whatever shirt they use is more forgiving that whatever they seem to be using at TCM. I have some shirts from pre-2020 that are much roomier so maybe it's just the particular style.

I just measured my latest Brooks race shirt (unisex M) and it is 19 inches across at the chest/bottom, and about 18.5 inches at the waist. This is in line with the size chart being 37-39 inches. Measuring my unisex S shirt from Marathon Weekend, it is 18.5 inches across in all areas (much more boxy).

I laid them together and the runDIsney shirt is almost identical in size and torso length but just slightly narrower. Sleeves are about the same length/width.

I was going to say the same thing! TCM 💙. Hope to see you all at Hot Dash in a few weeks!

I'm tall and the Brooks shirts are so short. And unlike a lot of brands, they don't get much longer as they get bigger. So getting an XXL gets me no additional length over the XL. The quality of the Brooks shirts is a little more durable than the current shirts runDisney uses that snag the second you look at them. I miss the shirts they were using right before the pandemic that were roomy, long, and very durable.

A shirt is not a shirt is not a shirt. We have no clue what Brooks will be using for Disney until we see it, and even then, I would not expect it to be the same from race to race. It's going to depend on where they manufacture/how many locations/material/lot variability/etc.

I have bought "identical" shirts that were manufactured in different locations and they didn't fit the same.

Guess the point is not to pass judgement until the actual Disney race shirts hit. I do agree with the points made, though---Disney should be assuring they at least cover the size bandwidth they had before in terms of key measurements (and also responding positively to runner feedback).

TCM has switched to ASICS now, and I'm just registering for Hot Dash and see that men's shirts go up to XXXL, and women's only go up to XL--that's some serious nonsense, IMO

Yeah, we will learn about the shirts from Springtime Surprise this year (though I appreciate that many of you are running that!). But I always find long sleeve shirts are a different animal than short sleeve tech shirts, so even the upcoming race shirts won’t really tell us everything.

So excited to get registered today! But trying to decide what to do about 5-10k estimated pace. Not sure if I should put the pace I CAN run or the pace I likely WILL run knowing I’ve got a half and a marathon the next two days.

I shouldn’t be, but I’m a little excited to see what the preorder merch is going to look like today. I’m assuming the I did it pins will be hinged and look like books, but I’m hoping they save that design for the distance pins.
I'm planning to grab screen shots as soon as the link shows up. Will post here.

If you're registering today, you must be Club rD. If Platinum, you'll be put in corral B (historically) regardless of what pace you put down. If you're Gold, then it does indeed matter for corral placement, which is probably why you're posting. Plenty of folks put a faster time than they plan to (or in some cases, CAN) run to get buffer for character stops and general mayhem.

Yup I’m gold. I think I’ll just go with what I know I can do then, even if I choose not to.

I'm Platinum and nowhere near fast enough to be in B otherwise, so I just hang back in the corral and start as far right as I can get. As long as you're practicing good course etiquette, you'll be fine.

You just scared the living hell out of me. I've been sick the last two days, and thought today was registration day.

Can't wait to see the merch previews though

Still no reg links for Club yet, but I'm refreshing every couple of minutes. Hoping it posts before my work meetings start!
