I've got 225xx with a POT that should put me in C (it put me in C for the Wine & Dine Challenge).
I think bib numbers are correlated to POT or estimated finish - and placement into corrals. However, I think the speculation is that if you register late, your bib number may be out of order and a high number and may not fit into the normal corral placement sequence. It may not automatically mean the last corral.212xx Dopey with 2:02 half POT, so things seem to be lining up with CrD and 2:00-2:15/4:00-4:30 paired in B.
Also, I don't know if there's any correlation to your POT and bib #? I actually kind of assumed that if anything, it correlates to registration time. There were a few times I've registered kinda late for non-RD races and it felt like I'd get really high bib numbers every time.
IF you have a POT (and signed up on registration day; not sure about later registrations), bibs are in order of time (i.e. faster POTs have lower bib numbers within the corral). I don't know how they assign numbers without POT.Also, I don't know if there's any correlation to your POT and bib #? I actually kind of assumed that if anything, it correlates to registration time. Interesting, at the same time, that would mean I should have a higher bib # (larger number, I should say) than @ZM73, who has a better POT than me. @ZM73, did you register on day one or later?IF you have a POT (and signed up on registration day; not sure about later registrations), bibs are in order of time (i.e. faster POTs have lower bib numbers within the corral). Not quite true. We actually can see the grass right now.
Last year's half of half is why I might never do a half without doing at least one other race again.Still no PP code for half-only here. How come we’re left out of all the fun AND are the only ones with rain in our forecast?! Always the bridesmaid, or something like that.![]()
