Marathon Weekend 2025

Look at your registration details on RunDisney. Go to your event and look for "Your Registration Info". Scroll down below your emergency contact info and it will say PhotoPass ClaimID.

I know I just got in (late charity bib), but I am already miffed at my 10k bib--62xxx. Do we have bib/corral correlations from last year to reference (before I let myself get too worked up)

ETA: Also great job @smileyanna on being the first to find the bib numbers! One less thing for us all to go nuts waiting for. (We now return you to your regularly scheduled neurosis about the weather!)
62xxx shouldn't be too far back. 10k bibs start at 60000

One advantage of having to take a super early flight out of MSP is that it gives my sleep schedule a hard reset at the beginning of the trip.
True! This is in part why I chose the 6am flight out on Tuesday.

and then we will be staying up to watch the Lions’ game that starts at 8:15. 🤦🏻‍♀️
Truly the MOST annoying part of moving to the east coast time zone for me is how late the prime time NFL games are! And the Chiefs play a LOT of them.

I don't even have that box in my Dopey registration yet.
Me either. Not even a spot for it.

I'm sure this has been asked before but my DW is trying to plan how to get to the finish (from BW) for the Half to see DS and I finish (will be his first half). The event guide lists when buses run from the finish back to the resorts but not resorts to the finish. is there no event transportation to the finish (other than monorail)? With all the road closures I'm not sure I want to tell her to drive.
My understanding was that spectators can get on a bus to get to the finish area, since they run in a loop. But I do see that wording you mentioned. I'd ask at the info desk at the expo.

Sorry if this has been posted - how should we interpret the bib numbers viz corral placement?
It's hard to say, really the best guess as to what corral you should be in is your POT/finish estimate, see my post earlier today on this. The bib numbers are used partly to confirm that things are lining up correctly (for example, participants with a really fast POT should have the lowest bib numbers for each race), also to sort things out a bit better if things aren't so clear (mainly for the non-POT corrals but occasionally for people who have POTs right in the middle of the chart estimates). Particularly for the first non-POT corrals, or the shorter races, because more people choose the faster non-POT times, there's a chance that some of those people end up in later corrals to even things out. Bib #'s can help us figure that out, but we also need a decent number of people posting #'s and their estimates to get a good sense of what the corrals might look like.

To use myself as an example, I have a 2:02 POT for the half, doing Dopey, so I'm expecting to be in Corral B. Whatever bib I end up with should be alongside people who have POTs in the same range. If I end up with a bib # that doesn't line up with other people in this range then I might get a bit worried, and obviously we'll all find out where RD put us for sure when we check in.

I usually return to the finish area after I complete the races. Monorail is the easiest since it avoids traffic. The same buses that drop you off at the hotel return to the races. Be warned that the buses drop you off as a spectator at the same location as race morning—not where you get on the bus after the race. This means you have a decent walk back the finish area and through the same security as park entrance.

Also, during W&D I got stuck waiting to cross the road near the bus stops where the runners were entering Epcot. The cast members wait for enough people to show up before they divert the runners so you can cross.

I asked around at Wine and Dine this year since I wanted my parents and kids to go see us and got conflicting answers depending on who I asked. In the end, as I was getting off at BW, there were people getting on, so assuming you're not finishing too early, she should be able to take the finish line to resort bus.

Sitting here thinking about the amount of clothing/gear I’m bringing and sort of wishing I had a DVC/Villa room with a washer/dryer this trip. 😂

Feels like a trip or two to the laundry room will be inevitable.
This is my first MW in a long, long time without a washer & dryer in my unit and I’m bringing more stuff for 3 nights and 1 race than I ever did for 6 nights and 4 races lol! It’s all about those options.

Busy day today in WDW! Sure glad MW is a weekend later as overlap with NY crowds is rough.

I sat down with my pizza at Blaze and a worker brought me a free cinnamon bread. Chivalry ain’t dead, folks! That, or he knows I’m carboloading :rotfl:

Update: bread is DELICIOUS and probably an excellent source of carbs wink wink :thumbsup2

Just landed … having to move around the airport the two large bags+carry on made me feel that I overpacked unnecessarily LOL..

And then Garmin daily report message was like.. “your stress level” is too high … my reaction:. I turned off all notifications (morning report, daily summary) from the watch until Dopey is done… this week I will create my own motivational daily report LOL

All and all, “welcome home”!! ❤️

One more data point. My friend's two kids' bibs for the 5k are 72xxx with 10:00-12:00 submission.

Unsurprisingly, it was cold! I was thankful for every layer I had, especially when an arctic wind gust would whip around the buildings with force. And a neck gaiter - which I received as a participant in last year's Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston, SC - became my new favorite cold-weather accessory. It kept my neck relatively warm, a la a scarf, and I was able to pull it up to cover my lower face and nose. Big help!

Otherwise the race was great. Only 5,000 runners, so it felt much smaller than the massive July edition. And running down Cardiac Hill was a novelty, although getting up some of the longer hills into Buckhead was a chore. I was able to quicken my pace at the end and finish in just under an hour.

The unquestioned bonus for this race is the cool hoodie and medal, vs just a t-shirt for the regular Peachtree. Check 'em out:

Cool medal and hoodie!
My early childhood was in Charleston and I remember driving over the old Cooper River Bridges. Love going back there. That race is on my bucket list.

Sleep topic: I have a tough time falling asleep early, so MW is me getting maybe a few hours of sleep, running, then maybe a nap in the afternoon.

Photo pass activation and linking to my bib is my kryptonite and winds up being frustrating every year. <sigh>
