Disneyparks just posted merch preview on Instagram.
whoa that's earlyDisneyparks just posted merch preview on Instagram.
I used to live by this but at the expo before the Amsterdam marathon they were giving out free samples of these cola bottle energy gels. They were amazing. I bought 5 packs and used them during the marathon. My only regret is not buying more, they were amazing.SAFD: This seems like a good opportunity to drop a…
NOTHING NEW ON RACE DAY!!!
No, but really: I have nothing new planned. I’m old. I’m a 30+ year WDW AP vet. I know what I like at WDW and nothing that would be new to me holds any interest. I’m good. Get off my lawn.![]()
Staying for the first time at the Cabins at Copper Creek. Soo excited for our own hot tubs!!!
I was about to say, that baseball jersey is exactly the type of merch they should have for this weekend.I was hoping for a letterman style jacket to fit the vintage theme (even though the Disney price for something like that would probably kill me) but I'm totally here for the baseball jersey.
OMG runDisney literally stole my 10K costume idea!! I am in the process of making the EXACT SAME baseball jersey and EXACT SAME hat - except ours will have the number 28 on the back and "Mickey" on one jersey and "Minnie" on the other. We were going to wear matching baseball pants to complete the outfit but now, I am thinking about scrapping the whole idea since it is not as original.Disneyparks just posted merch preview on Instagram.
Sorry to hear! Obviously not medical advice, but my anecdotal experience of having Covid in early December 2022 (caught over Thanksgiving) is that I had a mild case (really just felt like a typical cold) and I basically didn't do any long runs in all of December. I did runs in the 3-5 mile range which I felt okay doing, albeit slower than usual. I just focused on letting my body heal and I was feeling back to normal by January. I really only had symptoms for about 2-3 weeks aside from a bit of a lingering cough. Dopey ended up going fine. I had to walk a lot in the 2nd half but more from under training than anything, I had enough buffer time-wise it was never a concern.Man what a rough year. I’m registered for Dopey but I’m on day 6 of having covid right now. Thankfully I’m very mild but trying to decide if it’s a good idea to run that much in only a few weeks. Everything is paid for so assuming I clear it (it’s my first infection) I’ll be there for at least the easier races and some parks time but I may be walking the marathon I guess
Mine has honestly been less than a typical cold, I was tired for a day or two, had a slight cough and runny nose but that's really been about it. I'm just violently positive on my rapid tests so I know I've got a lot of virus. I'm glad I didn't go see my parents this last weekend at least.Sorry to hear! Looking back at my training, my last long runs that year were Nov 6th 17 miles and Nov 20th 18 miles. I ran 8 miles on Dec 7th (verrrry slowly) and then tested positive that nightI never ran more than 5 miles after that before Dopey 2023. I will say, I ran a marathon in October 2022 so it wasn't try first rodeo, but hope this provides a bit of comfort that it doesn't have to be over if you feel healthy by January. Obviously listen to your body, I didn't experience any heart/lung effects, if I had I definitely would have approached it different and/or pulled myself if I needed to.
That was me too. I think my second line on my test appeared before the control lineI'm just violently positive on my rapid tests so I know I've got a lot of virus. I'm glad I didn't go see my parents this last weekend at least.
Those sound very intriguing. Any chance you remember the name?I used to live by this but at the expo before the Amsterdam marathon they were giving out free samples of these cola bottle energy gels. Oh no!! I'm so sorry.Good luck with that! I’ve tried three times now and have pretty much come to the conclusion the ride just isn’t for me. The first time we rode in the morning and I was toast the rest of the day. Nothing made me feel better other than a total sleep reset. lol. The other two times I either kept my eyes closed completely or stayed focused on the ride vehicle - not particularly fun but at least I was back to normal after an hour or two. I so wish I could find a way to enjoy it since everyone else loves it! Ha!
