Just saw two women screaming at two of the guys directing traffic from the bus lot here at the expo. They were screaming that they had been on the bus for two hours and hadn't moved. We just got on a bus and will see how long it takes us to get out!

RunDisney just tweeted that we can also defer our half or get the refund. As dopey or goofy runners that is.

I wonder if I should take the gift card, or transfer to wine and dine. Transfer might be a better "value"?

So many runners on the Epcot loop today. We walked to DHS this morning and saw so many. Shouted encouragement to many. Folks with cowbells out in front of Boardwalk. Just can't keep folks down!!!

rD definitely did the right thing and I'm really impressed with how they are handling this. After lots of reasons to be upset with various things they do at times, this has been a first class response to a really bad set of circumstances.

Getting ready for lunch at Beaches and Cream. Had a good morning at DHS with the rain keeping lots of folks away. Lemonade out of lemons.

Yay for the Disney Boardwalk Half Marathon! I reported in running outfit and Dopey bib at 5:30am, but saw lightning in the distance. So I waited about 45 minutes in the BWI fitness center for a treadmill and completed 13.2 (a little extra, just in case!). The energy and atmosphere in there and out on the Boardwalk is great. CM would come over periodically to cheer for us on the treadmills, congrats all around when one of us "crossed the finish line" and woo hoos to the runners outside passing the window.

This is not my first marathon but it is my first Dopey. While I'd love to be back for the 2018 Dopey, I've asked a lot of my family and especially my husband for these few days, so I'm not likely to make this an annual event. As a result, and to stay happy, I knew I needed to run 13.1 this morning and I'm so glad I did. Great to share this with the other runners out there this morning.

P.S. Forgot to add that I quoted John's post because I did use my luggage tag for a post run medal photo!

We are debating the value of each option, too. It seems like the 2 one day park hoppers are a way better value than the gift card, right?

We just arrived in the expo parking lot. Quick drive in, but the traffic out looks bad. They need a police officer at the traffic light overriding it

Parked, into the expo, and back to the car in only 20 minutes. Now out of the parking lot and slowly crawling down Victory Way. Procrastination paid off for once

This seems to be a bus vs car problem. There are almost no buses on the road around me, just cars. It's like they are letting the cars out ahead of the buses

This is where I'm leaning right now as well. Just waiting to make sure I finish the full on this knee before finalizing the decision. Need to make sure I can transfer to the challenge and that it will be a legit C2C with the completed full.

That is pretty much it! Our bus just rolled out of the bus parking lot and we got on almost an hour ago. We kept seeing cars go by and hardly any buses. Someone finally let a lot of the buses get out so we are finally moving!

rundisney just posted that they are monitoring the weather for tomorrow and practically gave me a heart attack - thought it was another cancellation, but it's not!

"We are actively monitoring the weather for Sunday’s Walt Disney World Marathon and are expecting below average temperatures. Based on the forecast for cold temperatures, we recommend all runners dress in layers, particularly prior to the start of the race. Please be sure to take necessary precautions and have a great race!"

This is a good option.

Not sure if this was there earlier or added to the Rundisney website but it looks like the two day hoppers became an option for the challenge runners at some point. Too late to get to expo now.

Has anyone selected the two ticket option and are there restrictions such as an expiration date?

Got 13.4 in this morning. Trying to get ready for a chilly full tomorrow. It was fun running Donald'sGrumpyFauxHalf on the boardwalk this morning with all the other runners!

Do people still do the 'throw away' thing? It used to be we would buy the most ridiculous secondhand coat and wear that as long as needed. Even if that time period was only long enough to embarrass friends and family. A Wal-Mart raincoat can serve the purpose if you don't want to waist-tie a good jacket. Sitting in those corals can get pretty cold.

It WAS fun to see runners all over Disney property getting in their miles. I ran at Saratoga and cheered at Boardwalk.

Drove to the Expo... horrible experience. All's well that ends well.

Got some long running pants at Disney Springs... kinda throwing out the "don't do anything new on race day" mantra. #AdventureMarathoning

Dinner with my cousin and then some shuteye. To everyone that ran a "GPS Half Marathon" :: standing ovation :: To everyone running a "Windchill Marathon" -- lets do this.
