Can't wait to join you in 2019!!!

Will it be obvious where to go at the expo pick up the 1/2 marathon bibs and pre-ordered items? I assume there will be signage? Or should I be studying the expo floor plans?

Signs and CMs galore - no worries! If you're going to study the floor plans for anything I'd just focus on specific booths you want to visit (i.e. You know you really want to visit Fit2Run, etc.).

The bibs (in their own building), race shirts and official merchandise are the biggest areas and will be easy to spot. :)

Packed and headed up to the hospital to see Mom. I leave tomorrow morning for Orlando!

Question for anyone whose done grocery delivery. If your out do they refrigerate anything you get delivered? My go to breakfast thing is Greek yogurt but I would rather not sit around the hotel waiting for food to arrive.

Bell services has both refrigerators and freezers, so your groceries are safe!

I'm just not sure if changing the course will lessen the congestion though, as it seems there are far more people running this year at least from a corral standpoint(at least from my perspective, having the same POT as last year and being several corrals further back this year). The numbers might prove me wrong though.

Either way, if people find out and decide not to run...seems a waste of money to me, we still get a fantastic view most of the course anyway.

From a bib registration point of view. I think the difference between this year and last year was only about 300 people. It does look like rundisney shuffled the corral sizes on Corrals I-P Compared to 2015 (I couldn't find the 2016 corrals). Up -I the corral sizes seem close. Beyond that I notice some changes. I looks like in prior years corral P was much bigger like 3K people. This year its only 2100 people. It looks like they took people from those corrals and moved them to earlier corrals. I didn't look at Dopey/Goofy bibs to add them to this.

Day two of tapering... not much madness yet. I'm getting my haircut (could cut SECONDS off my time), some last minute shopping and the on to packing. Mouse house in 24 hours! ;)
If you waterboard yourself at every water stop you could almost make up the time you loose in all the "caution runners course narrows ahead" areas.

This would be one way to bring back the EE Challenge ;)
Navigating those crowds could definitely be more challenging than any of the "obstacles" during that race.

No kidding. I bet the "buy a pair of NB shoes, a Dooney, and a magnet" obstacle would be very tough to do. :rotfl2:

They could combine it with puzzles. You have to go through the expo floor and buy/try on items whose first letters spell out Donald or Mickey. Once you've gotten those items you run out and find the character whose name you spelled out. That character gives you a clue that you have to solve....

I'd bet that if they gave your early expo access Disney would wind up with people willing to pay for a race that included buying things quickly from them...

This is exactly why people are paying for early access to the expo :)

Son-of-a gun. I ended up catching whatever my boss didn't go to the doctor for. So it's antibiotics for me and praying to the RunDisney gods for it to all magically go away by Thursday.

Oh! Sorry that's terrible
