I agree though I love all Midwestern representation.

Those rivalries don't do anything for me being from Maryland originally, but now that Maryland has joined the Big 10 I get to see more of their games. Go Terps!

That's okay I understand. We may have beat you but we have a couple losses at the beginning of the season that really hurt.

I am registering for the Dopey, my first full, and then having my family fly out from CA and we will get on the Dream and I will do the Castaway Cay challenge. Has anyone done the CC challenge in the couple of years they have offered it? Super excited. I figured if I can get through the Dopey I am getting on a cruise and celebrating.

I haven't but this is on my bucket list!! It sounds so fun to hop right on a cruise after all the races.

Are we really smack talking about Iowa?? I mean, I'm not a huge NCAA fan, but... No. 8 basketball team, Rose Bowl football team, No. 4 wrestling team. Baseball team primed for a good year. Yeah, I'd say we're a state to be reckoned with! Go Hawks!

That said, I'm just glad all the politicians have left the state for another 3.5 years!

Big 10 eh? I went to Purdue so I'm a Boilermaker fan of course I think they've had more bad games in one season of football then the entire Big 10 combined My senior year we beat Ohio State at home and Michigan in Ann Arbor I think that was our best year since Drew Brees was QB hahaha.....

I wondered when we'd hear from Little Brother

Hi guys! Planning on going Dopey next year and have my flights and accommodation booked. Missus is thinking about doing the 5k - 10k as well and shes not a runner. In the middle of doing spring marathon training just did a 16 miler yesterday. Doing training with someone whos 2 - 3 minutes a mile slower than me but my marathon eyes are just fixed for January.

So, how long is everyone planning to stay down there for marathon weekend? Anyone making a trip out of it?

I'm going to fly down on Friday, do the expo and one park Saturday, race and another park Sunday, Magic Kingdom on Monday, then fly home Tuesday. My biggest question at this point is what parks to go to other than MK on Monday. I was all set for HS/Epcot, but then AK announced it's new Rivers of Light show would be done...choices, choices.
