**training freak out**
I was scheduled for 20 miles today (my longest full training session to date). I tweaked my knee coming off a curb and only made it 9 miles. I figured it was better to stop than aggravate whatever I did to myself. Now I'm kind of freaking out about my training.
My longest run to date has been 17 miles. (Side note, I also managed to get in a full 26 miles on the Sunday of Avengers Half between the race and all the walking around the parks. I know this isn't the same, but I actually felt great the next day with very little soreness so I take a small amount of comfort in that.)
I did 12 miles on Thanksgiving, and I did another 12 miler the weekend before. I workout about twice a day, 5-6 days a week right now (mix of yoga, barre, and running). I had been feeling pretty good until today.
Should I just rest from short runs this week, stick with yoga & barre, and try for 20 again next weekend? My last long run is schedule to be 22 miles on Christmas Eve. I'm feeling nervous I won't have enough long runs in before the marathon.
Looking for some advice and perspective.
