OMG is anyone else already having trouble with the runDisney site, even just refreshing? Has anyone ever successfully registered on an iPhone?

The runDisney site is going crazy right now. My guess is too many people on and overloading the servers. Glad for the backdoor link that's been posted!

rundisney site says registration is now open but active.com still says registration is closed.

Yeah. He said it was the same gal answering the phones when he called back that left a message about it. I'd like to feel bad if it's just one person who has to deal with all of this - but, c'mon. Get a real registration process. If it's not having the form active for "deferrals" (which, I'm not sure I buy FYI because why would it charge your credit card for a registration you've already paid for and deferred, but whatever), it's allowing people to go through and register AND get payment processed before telling them the event is sold out (like @AThrillingChase went through during W&D). It's always something stupid.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not 100 % familiar with the deferral system. But don't those using deferrals have to pay the fees for this year too even though? So it wouldn't be completely be surprising if this was the case.

@StarGirl11 I haven't deferred a race but I believe you pay a deferrel fee + the difference in what registration was the previous year vs. this year.

Somethings are just clockwork like that apparently -shakes head-. Really glad I registered for Dopey during AP reg right now.
