Marathon w-end Sat.- will MK be packed?

I usually avoid MK on a Sat ! - but it's the only night they'll likely run Spectro - anyone remember if the MK is mobbed that night - or do the marathoners and families go to bed reeeaaaallly early?! Do the locals avoid that weekend, or do more come than usual for the marathon? The other option I'm considering is to see Fantasmic that night and skip Spectro altogether this trip .

Any opinions? I've never been in Jan before and maybe I'm worrying too much about the crowds - not sure how slow to expect it to be.

And while I'm obsessing... I remember reading that there is no EMH at MK on marathon morning (Sunday) - would that make MK a good bet for the afternoon?

DH is running his first ever marathon and I can tell you that he will be in bed early since he will be rising at 3am.
