I totally understand...lol...right now my big decision is what flavor Gu should I take??

have you ever tried the stinger honey packs? honey with caffiene. Nice and smooth without the clumping from gu.

I haven't heard of the Stinger Honey packs. Where you would find something like that?

I get them in the local running store. We're heading out to Dick's Sporting Goods today (let's see if that gets past the censors!) and I'm going to check uot what they sell there.

Nope...never heard of them...but it's too late for me to try anything new before Disney...I only have one more 6 miler to do on Sunday (and I don't need any Gu for that) then time to taper! (although based on my activity this week, you'd think I already started...lol )

I hear you! a slow 10 miler tomorrow, then again, they're all slow for me!

in case anyone's interested for the future, here's some info on the stinger products. I like that you don't need to take them with water, like gu and the other thicker products.

Thanks for the link, Pixie. I checked and REI is the only place around here that would have them. Like Aisleleven, it's too late for me to try something new - sticking with my clif bar/gu combo. Who knows though... maybe next time! (Will there be a next time?!?)
