Marathon Scarves?

Hi all!

I have plenty of fabric for the people who've asked for a scarf so far. So far, there are 15 of us (including me) who want a scarf. I have enough fabric for about 24, so that's 9 more scarves I can make. Anyone else want one?

That's a great idea. I'd like one and I'm sure my only sister that hasn't responded yet (NancyK) would also like one. We're all staying at WL so we'll have to arrange to meet you somewhere.

Aren't we all meeting at the Carbo dinner?? or do we want to meet at the Expo. I think we're planning on going over there to get our packages on the Friday.

I can't wait to meet everyone. In just six weeks it'll all be over.

I would love a scarf as well, Dawn! This is really very sweet of you to do. But.... what if we get hot as we walk? I don't know that I want to drop such a nice thing!

Leave room in your fanny pack--or just tie it around your waist--I did that with my shirt yesterday--and it didn't bother me. But of course, I don't know what the fabric is.

Please don't plan on keeping the scarf with you for the whole race! There going to be made of fleece...not something you want to hang onto if it heats up. Maybe we could get pictures of everybody with their scarves on. If not a group photo, then individual or small groups. It really is an incredibly small gesture of thanks for all of the support and encouragement everyone has given me. I'm not going to take much time with making each scarf and I would feel really bad if someone was slowed down or overheated by it.

I'd love to have a scarf since it'll be a great way to get introduced to you all! I'll be staying at the CBR - arriving Thursday. Can't wait! I have my car rental done, and I've ordered a crib & stoller from ABBF. I'm getting very excited!

If I'm counting right, so far I'll be making 21 scarves. That means I have enough fabric for 3 more scarves. If a there are a lot more people who want a scarf, I can see if they have gotten any more lime green fleece in at the fabric store.

I would LOVE one! I've been away for awhile, but you've all been in my heart! I was trying to figure out how we were all going to find each other that morning. If you have enough fabric, I would really love and appreciate a lime green scarf. Such an awesome thing you decided to do! I'll be staying at OKW, but will be able to hop on over to wherever.

It looks like we have 24 people that want scarves. That uses up the fleece that I have. If there are more people who want one, let me know and I'll try to find some more lime green fleece.
