Marathon programs in October?

I know they said the chip pick up and verification info will be online but I thought we would still get our program info through the mail ahead of time.

Would be nice to see..Does anyone have anymore information than that?

Last year I got the program after Thanksgiving. Sorry, that's probably not what you wanted to hear.

OK thanks Cindy.At least you recieved it before you went.The postcard we recieved after registering said Oct. so I was nervous.

Unfortunately here is the information sraight off the Disney web site :

COMMEMORATIVE PROGRAMS
New in 2009! Your commemorative Walt Disney World ® Marathon Weekend program will not be mailed out to you in advance. You will receive it in your participant goody bag at the Expo. The program will also be posted on-line by December.

ONLINE PROCESS FOR RACE NUMBER PICK-UP CARD/WAIVER
Also new in 2009, you will not receive your half marathon race number pick-up card/waiver form in the mail prior to the race. You will need to download your personalized race number pick-up card/waiver form online and bring it with you to packet pick-up at the Expo. This form will be available by the end of October, and you will be notified via email when it is ready. Please continue to check back here for updates on this process.

Yes they did the same thing for the Disneyland 1/2. Really gave me something to look forward to last year, but I guess we can see it online which isn't quite the same, but at least we will be able to view it.

You can always print it out and make your own version of the program until you get it at the expo.

Bummer. It's such a fun treat to get in the mail.

You know, it's really starting to tick me off. The prices keeps goign up, tehy let more people in teh race (which should bring the cost down), and the services are going down. WTH?
