Marathon Monday?

Does anyone know if the "free" park day that they are giving to people who finish the marathon is it a park hopper? If not can you go to either of the parks or only for MK?

Trying to finalize ressies and need to know what park I will be in

I know that it's only for one park, not a hopper. I think it can be used for any park.

My understanding also is that it is a non-hopper park pass. In addition, that would be consistent with the other free passes that they have given with race registrations in in the past (Expedition Everest Challenge included park admission, but not sure if it still does)

I know for a fact it is a single park ticket so you'll have to pick one park and stay there. I'm going with Epcot personally. Now, if you have a multi-day pass also you can use that pass in a second park that day because the Marathon Monday ticket won't be attached to that pass. I wouldn't normally waste a pass day like that but if you are going to have a day left over anyway and don't have the no expiration option you might as well use it.

I am going to speculate that they will handle this pass much like they did the Give a day Get a day pass. You go to guest services and show your medal (as opposed to GAD certificate) and they check ID and issue a single day ticket. They will take your finger print there so you can't transfer the pass to someone else.

I think while they prefer to see the medal they will also be checking your ID against the race results. No finish no pass...more appropriately I cannot laon my medal to other folks so they can pick up a pass.

Good point. This would be a terrible race to have your tag not register.
