Marathon 2009 clothing

Hi there,

I forgot to get a friend of mine a tshirt from the marathon and I really wanted to. Do you know if there is a way to buy any now? If so, where would I look?

I will be at Disney on my family vacation soon. would the Wide World of Sports have any. Can you get anything online?

You can check with the store at WWoS - they would probably be able to direct you where to go. Also, the extra marathon stuff eventually ends up at the outlet stores. We usually go to the one on Vineland a month or so after the marathon and get some good deals - I think it is in the Premium Outlets. (I'll double check with hubby when he gets home.) It is pretty close to Disney, but I'm not sure how soon they will get the marathon stuff. I believe there is also a Disney Merchandise phone number, but that is for all of Disney, not just WWoS. Don't know if that helps... but have fun at Disney!

Do you know anyone who works at Disney? My cousin's friend was able to get some marathon stuff inexpensively after the race at a place exclusive to cast members. Or else the Disney store at the Orlando Premium Outlets may have a few things.

I'll have my cm bff check at the cm stores and let y'all know.
one store is new stuff anywhere from 25%-75% off
the other store is used,found, guest stuff that's left and
slightly damaged stuff that's 75% - 95% off ! It's craziness!

Thanks for posting this. I really hope we can get the merchandise somewhere. I really wanted to get the shirt that said 26.2 I did it! But I have a rule that I can't wear the race shirt before I do the race so it is also a rule that I can't buy a shirt that said I did it before I did it. Then after the marathon I saw the merchandise tent but didn't have my charge card on me and after the walk all the way back to the Dolphin I couldn't go all the way back up there (and in enough time) anyway. I did buy a pink shirt that said 2009 Marathon but its not as noticable as the 26.2 I did it - which sometimes I want to make as a statement now that I did it!!

The store at WWoS had everything marked down 40% on 1/12. They had limited sizes and said all sizes were out. I returned the next day and they had more sizes available. Score!!!!

I would try giving them a call and maybe they have what you need. Good luck!!!

Woo Hoo! I'll try them when we get there. Did they have a lot left? I mostly interested in women's goofy or mickey stuff.

It was over one week ago but they had quite a bit left. It wouldn't hurt to call them and ask if they still have stock left and how long it will be there.

I would think the racers (except locals) would have left so it may not be selling as quickly now. I hope you get what you want.

There was also merchandise at Team Mickey @ DTD when I went there several days after the events.

DD is level 10. They go at 5:50 in the Milk house. Two gyms rats are spending the night here and are spending the evening doing their hair.

I just can't relate.

Oh well there is no more marathon merchandise - they just packed everything up and were wheeling it out. Someone at the counter asked the guy if he had something marathon merchandise related so I figured I would ask as well. Unfortunately he said he didn't have anymore of the I Did It shirts - that was the only thing I wanted.

I got there about 4 pm and asked about the merchandise and got the same story, but the clerk was really helpful. Her son had just run Ironman Hawaii and knew how important the clothing is.

She said some lady actually ran the cart down and looked the shirts over. Did that happen to be you TnTsParty?

The clerk found a manager who had someone go into the store room and look for Goofy shirts. They found what I was looking for and brought it up to me. It took a while, but it was great service. I got my shirt.

I was surprised where the clothing was going. I thought the outlet stores. No, it is being shipped to charities. You can't buy the official merchandise anymore, but you might find it at a local charity store.

I was concerned about the mojo, but didn't want to risk not getting the "I Did It" shirt...I missed out at the DL 1/2 last year (because I didn't want to get an I finished item before I finished) so I didn't want that to happen for the full. I bought the shirt at the expo and left it in the bag. It was actually a motivator for me to finish! I mean, I already had the shirt! LOL Not finishing was not an option! It worked out for me, so that is what I will do from now on... I did have my cc in my belt in case I wanted to buy anything after the race, but I didn't have to...
