Does anyone know if there's map/drawing anywhere of the GCH room layouts? (or all of the DL hotels?)

Thanks!

Hello! We are trying to ensure we get the right room type - looking for as much floor space as possible for our disabled son in his walker/wheelchair. A terrific CM directed me to this site:

http://disneyland.disney.go.com/dlm/en_US/index?id=GCHStandroomPage

Scroll down the page and you'll see a room layout map. Also, on the left navigation, you'll see you should be able to get the same info for PP and DLH.

Take time to check out the HUGE suites and imagine checking into one of THOSE BABIES!!! (OK, I think our big decision is whether to go with 2 Queend beds or 1 Queen and the bunk beds!)

Hope this helps you too.

P.S. I'm from Toronto! Where are you?

hofmanns4- thanks for the awesome map of the GCH rooms.
I was going to call and request rooms 333-355 or 400-450 on the DCA side.
If we can't get a room with a "good" view of DCA, is the next best thing the rooms facing DTD so we can maybe see DL?

The only issue is that you may end up with one of those rooms that is really far away. You have to exit by room 150 to DTD to goto the parks. (There is an exit by room 451, but you can't enter there.) We had room 436 once and it was a really long walk at the end of the night.

After room 436, we have always requested a room on the pool side of 300 to 324 and always been able to get it. Great view and close to the elevator and the Craftsman Club.

Thanks so much! That's exactly what we were looking for! You're awesome! We requested the bunk beds. Do you happen to know if they are located in a certain section, or throughout the hotel. We've just got a standard view booked. Should we request something else besides the bunkbeds? Our kids would like the beds, but are the rooms in a crummy location?

Thanks again!

I am not sure, but I think they are all over the hotel. We have always had the room with the bunkbeds and the kids love them. (Well, DS was only 6months old last trip, so he could care less, but DD was 6 and loved the top bunk!)

We also have a standard view room this time, (all we could get at the AP4 rate) If we are not able to upgrade to our usual section, I am going to try for 303-325 for a view of the courtyard. Looks peaceful and will be cool to have the monorail come by.

thanks hofmanns4- you bring up a very good point..that looooong walk after being in the parks all day.

I called the GCH and they said most of the construction is going on near the 200 wing of the hotel. We requested a park view and the CM said we would get a room in the 300 or 400 wing.
