Hey all,

I'm searching for good printable maps of the:

1. WDW Magic Kingdom Resort Area
2. WDW as a whole
3. Boardwalk

They don't have to be in color! I'm trying to put together information for our families who are coming. I'm already getting smothered with questions :upsidedow

Thanks for any help! :flower3:

We stopped at the concierge at the GF, and they gave us gorgeous maps with the GF area on the front and all of WDW on the back. Since all our events (except the WD at EPCOT) were around the GF, it made it easy.

My MOH labelled the maps with stars and a legend for where everything was. I thought she did an excellent job!

If you're not going to be at WDW before then, maybe you can call the Boardwalk or Disney Customer Relations and see if they'll mail you a few. She was ready to give us a stack, but we needed 40 (or so) for our Welcome Bags, so we just counted out what we needed.

Wow, what a brilliant idea Heidi. We are going for a planning session next month, so i'm going to try and get a few of those maps. Thanks.

For the boardwalk map, I'd check the Resorts board, I'm sure someone there has one.

If anyone can get one of those GF maps I would love a copy :worship:

meg - sending you some to your gmail account (thats listed on facebook).

I've got some extra that I was about to throw out (without the stickers on them). I can mail them to you. I don't think it costs that much to go from Germany to UK. PM me your address.

Meg, there is actually a standard fold-up glossy type map of the Boardwalk area resorts and shops. Epcot Guest Relations usually has it. I'm headed over to Epcot now to meet Tanya, I'll try and pick one up so I can show you what it looks like and if you want them I can grab a bunch and send them to you. I can also easily get a bunch of the overall maps that Heidi posted too.

ETA, you may just want a bunch of the info books they put in welcome packs at the resorts, they have a pull out map of all of property and lists of restaurants etc. I can send you those too if you want

Our daughter is getting married on the Wonder in November and she also wanted maps but of Castaway Cay. I couldn't find a good one online....I posted on here and another DIS Member was heading out on the cruise and she was kind enough to get them for DD while she was cruising!!!!!

There are tons of great people on here. Maybe you could try a seperate post and see if anyone is heading down and willing to pick some up for you durring their trips also. I will be sure to post a reminder when we are headed down for the Wedding to see if there is anyone needing them while we are there........kinda like a Pay it Forward:goodvibes

I quoted you because I was just about to offer to pick them up for you! I'm cruising on the Wonder after the wedding on 9/3.

Meg, my wedding is in 3 months - If you can wait till beggining of September, I can pick some up for you???

you could always order custom maps free from disney too for the main map and theme parks:

I forgot about the custom maps - I'll have to go order them! (For myself o'course! LOL!) But I'll def. put the link on the website... which is crying for an update!

Hey Becky - thanks uber much for your offer! I'm going to try to see what printing the maps would look like on legal sized paper at work. But the info books would be awesome! I'll pay you for postage o'course :goodvibes

That was just an awesome link!! Thanks muchly! :goodvibes

That was awesome of you! :goodvibes

So I stopped by Epcot GR and they don't have the maps of the Boardwalk anymore ...

They are finks! Well not really. I'm going to try printing the Boardwalk Map.. or may try making one in Photoshop. I just have this fear that we're going to lose half the guests between SBP and ADH!! I'm not going to be able to escort them over there, and it's like I don't believe they can do it without me! :rotfl:I'm not a control freak - just one of the few in this family with a sense of direction!! :goodvibes

Thanks Jackie! :goodvibes I'll def. let you know!

lol, you can always hang a sign over your heads at the altar with an arrow pointing at ADH :lmao: I mean they will be staring at the building during the ceremony! But I can totally see people getting lost without an escort, that's what happens at WDW, they get lose all sense of time and space and, well, everything!

Not sure if this helps you or not, but we included the park maps in our welcome bag. Our planner was supposed to have the conceirge put them aside for us, however, they weren't there when we needed them. However, the conceirge had no problem getting them for us (we only needed about 50 of each park). Once we got them from the front desk, we put them into each of the welcome bags. Hope this helps.

If your family is bugging you ahead of time, you can always direct them to the disney website which has interactive maps available online.
