I only have one day to spend in the park. I'm trying my best to plan everything down to the last detail to see as much as we can. Anyone know where I can get a really good map that outlines everything? I tried printing the one in the sticky thread, but it came out all blurry.

Remember to plan to not stress out and enjoy a few laid back moments.:goodvibes

Have a great time!

If you'd like a pretty good one-day itinerary, Unofficial Guide to Disneyland (book available in bookstores) has a couple. One is for adults and hits the highlights; one is geared toward small children. You can't see it all, but they give you a pretty good view of the best stuff, timed so your wait-in-line times are minimal.

Most people will tell you that you can't do it all in one day. I disagree. If you go on a day when the park is open 8am-midnight I fully believe you can do all of the following in one day:

- Ride every single ride (there are about 30 in Disneyland)
- See the fireworks show
- See the parade
- See the "Disneyland: First 50 years" show
- See "Honey I Shrunk the Audience"

And still have 30-45 minutes for lunch and dinner.

I'm the type that is perfectly content absorbing the atmosphere as I walk from ride to ride. I don't feel the need to browse shops or relax in the hub, but if you are the type that does want those things to be a part of your day then you may have to cut out a few rides (and there are definitely a few that can easily be sacrificed without feeling like you've missed much).

In order to accomplish the above you'll need to have a very good understanding of how to use the FastPass system and go in with a plan. You won't have time to stand around and think "ok, what ride do we want to go on now?" That has to already have been planned out in advance and you need to make sure you hit certain rides at certain times.

Most people would hate to approach a day in Disneyland this way but I enjoy it. It's like a challenge. Anyway, point is, it can be done.

Definitely another key is to arrive before or at opening, it really does help with being able to walk right onto your favorite ride, or need to wait for a fast pass, or wait in a long line without a FP. I am not a early morning person, but I made it a point to become such last week, so as a result I was at DL. before 9 a.m., 9 is when the park was to open, though last Wed. it opened earlier, to allow visitors entry to Main Street, I liked that, that was nice. There were no lines, at all, for my most favorite rides, being POTC and the HM, I always ride them several to many times, before I am done for the day. By going before opening, it does not matter if by the early afternoon, lines to one degree or another are forming, because you will have already been, and then it is just a matter of waiting to see what the lines are like, so when they are light to nothing, go again, and again, get fast passes, I love those!
