Thank you for the links. I have another question, the snorkeling lagoon, is that blocked off so fish come in, but sharks cannot? I know it sounds crazy, but just wondering.

Yes, the whole area around the family beach at CC has a shark net. Sometimes barracuda do get in but I have never heard of them bothering anyone at CC....

There have been pics of some small sharks from time to time that get through the net but nothing to worry about.

There is no shark net at the adult beach.

So true!!!

We saw a small shark at Serenity Bay adult beach this past Tuesday! We also saw a sting ray, a sea urchin, large schools of colorful fish, awesome gigantic starfish and huge sanddollars. Thank goodness we didn't see any jelly fish.

At the family snorkeling area near the family beach, there was a barracuda when we were there in 2008.
