to all who have posted information here. I've booked a 4 night on the Wonder that departs 3/13/05 for my family (myself, wife, 2 daughters who will be 8 and 4), my parnets and my brother. I've spent several hours reading through hundreds of posts and have learned a ton of stuff- most importantly that we're going to have a BLAST! None of us have ever cruised before, so this will be a new experience for everybody, and a great way to spend some family time together.

One thing I haven't seen here yet is what kind of weather/seas we can expect in mid-March. Can anyone who has cruised at this time of year fill me in? I'll post more questions as I think of them, but just by lurking I feel I've already become a "vicarious expert" on DCL. Can't wait to experience the real thing!

Sorry I can't help with your mid-March question, we've always cruised in Sept., but I wanted to give you a suggestion. Try adding "and a question" or "? about mid-March weather/seas" into the thread title. Not everyone looks at all the threads, so that might help with responses.
And don't just lurk, ask away. Sometimes it's easier then trying to use the search function, but I didn't say that outloud.

We cruised in early March of this year. We were actually on the Magic Western, but I can tell you the seas were a little rougher than we expected leaving Port Canaveral. The first night was kind of rocky, so we were glad to have our sea-bands with us. We even took a dramamine before dinner. However, the next morning everything was fine and we didn't experience any rough weather around Castaway Cay.

We also cruised early March - Eastern. The weather was glorious and the seas were calm most of the time. Guess its pure luck! Nat
