We have a BWV GV booked for September and we are travelling with the kids and their grandparents. Is it possible to request or reserve a single floor unit through MS or can this only be done at check-in? I think my wife's folks would be much happier without the stairs.

93 more days to plan and pack, starting with lining up all these darn ducks!

You can certainly request it through MS. As a matter of fact, if it's important, you should make the request. Just remember though that you stand a chance of still not getting one of the 1 Floor GV's.

I called MS at 4:59PM and actually got through. They offered a "handicap Unit" they could garauntee but I declined, that's just bad karma. They did note the request on the ressie though.

I always make my room requests thru MS. For example, I request non smoking room because my son has asthma. I also request certain views and I have only been disapointed with my request once. So for the most part, making requests thru MS is helpful.

I appreciate it. Now I have to get on with the next duck. This will be the most planned out vacation I've ever taken.

So next question:

I've read that parking at BWV can be quite the distance from the room. I understand we, as members, get valet parking. My inlaws will be following us down from our home in Atlanta. Can they use Valet as well since they are staying as DVC guests? I know we can arrange Bell Services to handle their bags for a hardy tip but can they get their vehicle parked as well?

My goal here is to provide them with a dream vacation. I want every detail to reflect a first class trip and take all the little hassles out of the picture.
