if we get to seaworld at 9 do you think we will have time to ride manta and kranken before 10am? thanks

Kraken, yes. Manta, it depends on the crowd. Earlier this season my husband and I could get a couple rides on Manta first thing in the morning. Last time he went (on June 30), he did the passholder early opening and was planning to stay for a couple of rides after park opening, but there were apparently tour groups and tons of other people, and they all headed toward Manta so the line extended far out of the queue right after 9.

And for us the times we have gone it depends on whether Manta is closed due to problems.
We are thinking they are having problems with the loading and unloading system used on this ride. Problem while we have been there has always seemed to be located there. Many times while we have been there it seems like Manta is closed more than it is open and they never know how long it will take to get it up and running so they urge everyone to get out of line. Last week we didn't see it run for hours when they were getting people off the ride when it was down. Family lined up 3 times to ride and every time it closed-once when supposed to be the next on after waiting almost an hour. Finally got to ride late afternoon. Went back to ride that night while Shamu Rocks was on and it was down again. Rained then though so might have been rain closure. We have not had a lot of luck. Son was there Wednesday and during the time he was there they couldn't ride because it was down again. So for right now we say Manta is an Iffy ride.

That said, the son that lives there has sometimes been able to ride 5 or 6 times in a day. He just keeps bringing more and people into the park for the ride with their employee passes.

Yes, I think you would be able to get both in before 10! Go straight to Manta, then head over to Kraken. You will love them both!
