Manly Minnie Mouse at MK today?

I'm sort of wondering the same thing. I got a very cute red dress with little white polka dots that I was going to wear with black mary janes for a day at the MK. I have cute little ears that I was considering wearing with it, but would that make it be considered a costume? I sort of feel like a Minnie-themed outfit wouldn't count, as Minnie isn't a face character, so there's no way a woman dressed in a similar outfit could be mistaken for the official Disney "Minnie" costume complete with big head. You know?

I can't imagine Disney would have an issue with a woman wearing a Minnie outfit like you (and the poster above) describe. In fact, I don't think there'd be any debate at all if the OP's post had been about a woman wearing a polka dot dress and white bloomers and ears.

While we were there we saw lots of women wearing dresses that were black with white polka dots with red accents/belts etc. They were just fine and looked quite cute actually. Also lots with the ear headbands too. No one would ever think it was actually Minnie Mouse.

Wish I would have thought about it at the moment. As to no harm done, well I'll never see Minnie the same way.
