"Manga" is the Japanese equivalent to comic books.

The manga style is gorgeous and I did try my hand at it a few years ago. (Think Pokemon.. yikes.) It wasn't really my thing though and I've tried to progress at good old fashioned slapstick cartooning instead. Occasionally I'll crank out a rather dramatic character with big, sparkly eyes and flowing hair, but that's usually just for my own amusement more than anything else.

Still love to read the stuff, though.

really i've never heard of manga just i know it's something forgein i've no chance of doing no matter what... (this was before and after reading what it meant since i'm rubbish at drawing)
